I whistled, that's a nice growth, didn't expect regeneration, but probably due to all the injuries I sustained since getting here, like nails falling off due to excessive digging or that injury from the obsidian chunk or the burns I received from rushing in the smithy.

*Sigh*

Guess today I'll take it easy

And so I did, I spent the day gently massaging my body, reading books at my own leasure, hopping into a well for a bath and doing what I felt like doing, even if it was rolling around in mud, I can wash it off either way.

I spent doing that for a week, meditated too for once, sat in a lotus pose and all that stuff and just breathed, hoped to get mana by doing that, turns out nope, nai, ne, nein, pick the language, the answer's the same.

Didn't even feel the special energy in the air like in the comics, yes I've read some before.

Though it does help me in organising my mind, so I guess I'll keep doing it.

Still, nnow that I have the forge and the resources to back it up, I'm ready to conquer this place.

For over 100 days, I studied any blueprint I count find and made them, first the tools to make good handles, then the rest, tried dabbling in some mechinery, got some gears spinning, but not much result, I can't forge tiny enough enough stuff…yet.

One step at a time, one step at a time.

Though I did notice one thing, certain aspects are sped up, like plant growth.

I started planting stuff, wheat, hemp, trees, I only need to wait at most 10 days for the plant to finish growing.

The other thing is resource regeneration, no matter how much clay or water I took, the next day the pits I made from digging are gone, I kept what I dug, but the resource itself renewed.

I started learning pottery and glassmaking. Past day 280 I stopped bothering to keep track of how long I was here, it started to interfere with how much I can focus on my work.

For pottery, I made simple stuff, mainly a kiln, and I made that wire people use to cut clay, but hole fuck did it take a lot of effort.

First I had to make a straight rod as straight as I can, then I had to make a drawplate, a metal plate with smaller and smaller holes, and continuisly pulled it through smaller and smaller holes, but I'm proud of it, since the steel wire is less than a 10th of my nail.

By the way, I started making steel, I made a separate place for that, every workshop here seems to have the ability to expand infinitely, so of course I have to use every bit of that space.

Also the process isn't that bad, especially since I have instructions near me.

I just refine the iron, shape it into iron bars, heat the iron bars packed in charcoal, then keep at that high temperature for a really long time till I pull it out and that's steel.

I can't yet measure the carbon content, so through trial and error, I've learned to avoid the pig iron, unless I'm making casts, but even then pig iron is useless, I can't even forge anything out of it since it's too brittle.

As for glass blowing, after making a furnace to melt raw ingredients into glass and a crucible to hold that molten goodness, I made a lehr too, to help with cooling the finished glass without it cracking.

Then I made a blowpipe, pontil rod, marver, glass shears, jacks and then some stone blocks to help with shaping and smoothing out what I make.

And my first item is a big jar, I want to get ready to enter the cooking area.

It took me 5 tries to get it right, since I'm alone and it's very hard to do it alone, I had to make a dummy that could hold stuff for me, it's a wooden statue, whose arms can be turned by the shoulders and then locked in to properly hold it.

After that I went into a glass making spree, making all sort of stuff, mostly jars of varrying size, but I also tried making some more cosmetic stuff, like vazes or sculptures (hard for now)

Then an idea clicked in my head, I can make molds, and I did.

All the while I was keeping up with farming, I'm currently learning to make food for farm animals too.

There is no timer for when the satiety timer ends, I mean 10k hours is a lot, a year, but still.

Anyways after making a shit ton of jars, I started making lids, funny am I right, anyways.

Since I never really went back into the clothmaking section, I only have so much cloth I can use, maybe I should get back there, since I'll need some for sure.

But first, lids.

I measured out the place for the lids' length and thank the heavens I used the exact same steel pipe to widen then place for the lid, so they're all the same, well mostly the same.

I made 4 sizes: tiny (lid length is half the length of my fist), small (3/4 of my fist length), medium (fist length), big (anything beyond).

After making lids for the tiny and small jars, some through molds actually, I moved to that method, since I can mass produce steel stuff easier that way.

Then I worked more, and more…and more, till my entire being was made up of work, I wake up, go to work, pass out working, awake, get back to work. If not for the fact that the satiety timer ended, I wouldn't even bother to take breaks, eating at most 3 times a day.

Till one day I woke up tired and I couldn't lift my body.

*Sighed*

Guess this is my first instance of overwork in this place. Even my body is forcing me to rest.

I tried reading a book to not waste time, but my mind could not focus, so I went back to bed and just laid there… I don't know how long, but I just closed my eyes and tried to just be, nothing more nothing less.

My mind is tired as much as my body if not even more.

For now, time to check my stats again

What growth, I must say, I'm surprised poison resistance grew so little though.

I mean I tried eating compost, grass, inhaled various gasses, like the ones rising from molten stuff, be it glass or iron.

Don't get me wrong, I made a primitive gas mask, which was just a plague doctor mask with a bunch of stuff in the beak to help filter, but it was uncomfortable to breathe, and very hard too, not to mention the potential fogging, so I scarped the mask all together.

*Sigh*

Maybe it's time to start forging weapons…but first, traits.

In the end I never bothered to check them, maybe now's the time.

Thus first I clicked 'Blessed by the craftsman spirits'

[Trait: Blessed by the craftsman spirits

Description: You've been blessed by the spirits of craftsmanship. Be proud, for your journey as a craftsman will be smoother and your passion for crafting shall be never-ending. ]

I read through everything, neat, but not so neat when so little information is given. Are there any buffs or debuffs for starters, do I get increased affinity with something?
