Monday Morning...
The weekend had finally come to an end.
HVIS was once again filled with the cheerful voices of students.
Inside Section E...
Ci-N lazily dropped onto his chair.
"I already miss the weekend."
David looked at him.
"You miss sleeping."
Ci-N nodded confidently.
"And food."
Everyone laughed.
Edrix shook his head.
"Some things never change."
Keifer smiled faintly.
For a moment...
Everything felt normal again.

A few moments later...
The classroom door opened.
Jay walked inside.
"Morning."
"Morning!" everyone greeted.
She smiled before taking her seat beside Keifer.
Keifer looked at her.
"Morning."
Jay smiled back.
"Morning."
For a brief moment...
Neither of them spoke.
Keifer wanted to ask her so many questions.
But...
He knew she wouldn't answer.

Just then...
The classroom door opened once again.
Sir Alvin walked inside.
"Good morning, class."
"Good morning, Sir!"
Sir Alvin smiled.
"I have someone I'd like all of you to welcome back."
He stepped aside.
A familiar young man slowly entered the classroom.
The room instantly fell silent.
Ci-N blinked several times.
"...Yuri?"
David's eyes widened.
"No way..."
Felix couldn't hide his surprise.
"He's really back..."
Yuri looked around the classroom.
Then...
He bowed.
"I'm sorry."
"I disappeared without saying anything."
"I know I worried everyone."
"I don't expect all of you to forgive me."
"But..."
"I hope you'll give me another chance."
No one spoke.
The atmosphere was awkward.
Finally...
Sir Alvin smiled.
"Yuri will officially rejoin Section E starting today."
"I hope everyone will support him."
"Now..."
"Go take your seat."
"Yes, Sir."
Yuri nodded respectfully.
He quietly walked toward the empty seat.
As he passed by...
Jay gave him a small encouraging smile.
Yuri smiled back.
Keifer noticed.

The morning classes soon began.
Everything appeared normal.

An invisible wall had formed inside the classroom.
Some students were happy Yuri had returned.

Section E gathered together in the cafeteria.
Ci-N could no longer contain his curiosity.

"Where have you been all this time?"
Yuri looked down.
"I'm sorry."
"I can't tell you."
David frowned.
"Why not?"
Before Yuri could answer...
Jay calmly spoke.
"Don't ask him anymore."
Everyone turned toward her.
Felix looked at Jay.
"You know what happened?"
Jay hesitated.
"...Yes."
"But I can't tell anyone."
Ci-N scratched his head.
"Seriously?"
David sighed.
"Now I'm even more curious."
Edrix leaned back in his chair.
"If Jay says she can't tell us..."
"There must be a reason."
Yuri quietly looked at Jay.
"...Thank you."
Jay simply nodded.

Keifer remained silent throughout the conversation.
He watched Jay.
She protected Yuri without hesitation.
Just like she had the night of the attack.
He trusted Jay.
He truly did.
But...
He couldn't understand why she kept pushing him away whenever he asked about Yuri.
A strange feeling settled in his chest.
Not anger.
Not distrust.
Just...
Jealousy.

Students slowly began leaving the campus.
Yuri walked toward the school gate alone.
Jay caught up with him.
"Ready?"
Yuri smiled.
"Yeah."
The two of them walked away together.
Keifer stood a few metres behind them.
He watched as they laughed about something he couldn't hear.
For the first time...
He felt like an outsider.
Honey, who had just arrived to pick Keifer up for a meeting, noticed his expression.
She followed his gaze.
Then smiled gently.
"...You're jealous."
Keifer looked away.
"I trust Jay."
Honey nodded.
"I know."
"Then trust her."
Keifer sighed.
"I'm trying."
Neither of them noticed...
Across the street...
A black luxury car was parked beneath the trees.
Inside...
Lucien Blackwood watched everything with a satisfied smile.
"The distance between them..."
"...is growing."
He slowly closed the car window.
"Exactly as I planned."
