The campus became lively once again after Keifer officially returned.
Girls from different sections couldn't stop staring at him as he walked across the courtyard.
"I can't believe he's back."
"He's even more handsome now."
"I heard he's the CEO of Watson Enterprises!"
Keifer simply smiled politely and continued walking.
Beside him...
Jay noticed every single glance.
Ci-N leaned toward David.
"...Three."
David looked confused.
"Three what?"
"Three girls have confessed to Keifer in the last ten minutes."
Jay folded her arms.
"What a headache."
Keifer looked at her with a teasing smile.
"Jealous?"
Jay rolled her eyes.
"In your dreams."
A girl suddenly approached Keifer.
"U-Um... welcome back."
Keifer smiled politely.
"Thank you."
The girl blushed before quickly running away.
Jay clicked her tongue.
"Gago."
Before she could even realise what she had said...
Keifer gently cupped her face and kissed her.

The entire courtyard fell silent.
Jay's eyes widened.
Keifer smiled proudly.
"You know the rule."
Jay covered her burning face.
"I hate that rule."
Ci-N dramatically pointed at them.
"HEY!"
"School grounds!"
David sighed.
"I've accepted that this is our daily entertainment."
Everyone burst into laughter.
Jay lightly hit Keifer's arm.
"You did that on purpose."
Keifer grinned.
"You called me 'gago.'"
"You left me no choice."
Jay shook her head, trying not to smile.
"You're impossible."
"And yet..."
"You still love me."
Jay looked away, completely embarrassed.

That afternoon...
Classes finally ended.
As everyone gathered near the school garden...
Edrix suddenly cleared his throat.
"I... have something to say."
Everyone looked at him.
Even Freya looked confused.
Edrix took a deep breath.
Then...
He walked straight toward Freya.
The usually confident Edrix seemed unusually nervous.
Freya blinked.
"Edrix?"
He smiled awkwardly.
"I've never been good with words..."
"So I'll keep it simple."
He looked directly into her eyes.
"Freya..."
"I like you."
"I've liked you for a long time."
"So..."
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
Silence.
Everyone held their breath.
Ci-N whispered,
"Don't breathe."
David looked at him.
"You literally just spoke."
Ci-N immediately covered his own mouth.
Freya stared at Edrix for several seconds.
Then...
A gentle smile appeared on her face.
"I thought you'd never ask."
Edrix blinked.
"...Is that a yes?"
Freya laughed softly.
"Of course it's a yes."
Edrix couldn't hide his smile anymore.
He gently hugged her.
The entire group erupted into cheers.
"WOOOOO!"
Ci-N was the loudest.
"WE HAVE ANOTHER COUPLE!"
Jay smiled warmly as Keifer slipped his hand into hers.
Looks like...
Love was truly in the air.
