The Queen of the Underworld smiled, and I saw a glimmer of madness in her eyes. This world is mine, she said. And you, God of Death, are the only one who can stop me.
I drew my sword, its blade shining with a faint light. I will not let you have this world, I said.
The Queen laughed. You are no match for me, she said. I have the power of the underworld at my command.
She raised her hand, and a wave of dark energy washed over me. I felt my strength begin to fade, and I knew I had to act fast.
I focused all my energy on my sword, and I struck. The blade bit deep into the Queen's shoulder, but she did not cry out. Instead, she smiled.
You are strong, she said. But you are not strong enough.
She raised her hand again, and another wave of dark energy washed over me. I felt my strength fade even more, and I knew I was in trouble.
I needed to come up with a new plan, and fast. Otherwise, the Queen would destroy me and take over the world.
And then, I remembered something. The Queen's power came from the underworld. If I could somehow cut her off from that power, I might have a chance.
I looked around, trying to come up with a plan. And then, I saw it. A small, glowing crystal that hung from the Queen's necklace.
If I could destroy that crystal, I might be able to cut off the Queen's power. But how?
