The quantum tunnel spat the assault ship into darkness.

No blue Earth. No golden sun. Just a dead star wrapped in black slime — the sun completely obscured by a living, writhing substance that consumed light itself.

Eternal night.

"Break atmosphere!" Jake ordered.

The ship tore through symbiote clouds and descended.

New York. Stark Tower ruins.

Searchlights flickered against the dark. Gunfire and energy blasts filled the air.

Hundreds of hound-like symbiote creatures surged toward the Avengers' last defensive line — black, eyeless, reforming from every wound faster than they could be inflicted.

"FRIDAY — unibeam!" Tony's battered armor punched through two monsters. The black slime reorganized instantly and lunged again.

"Physical attacks are useless!" Steve threw his shield — three spines severed — but a fourth creature caught it with black tentacles and hurled it away.

"LIGHTNING!" Thor slammed Stormbreaker into the ground. Thunder charred a dozen symbiotes. More climbed over the smoking corpses without pause.

The line was breaking.

High above — the clouds tore open.

ROAR—!

A hundred-meter symbiote dragon — Grendel — locked onto the descending assault ship, jaws gaping for the engines.

The hatch popped.

Jake leaped — no suit, no parachute. Wind shredding his coat.

The dark-gold dial turned. No base form needed. Direct Ultimate extraction.

Whoosh!

White-green light erupted at three thousand feet.

Ultimate Humungousaur.

Fifteen meters of dark-green heavy armor, metal bone spikes bristling. Jake's feet landed on the dragon's skull.

BANG!

The skull crumpled. The dragon wailed, falling straight down with Jake riding the wreckage like a surfboard.

"Fire."

Both forearms flipped open. Six-barreled bone-spike launchers.

BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!

Point-blank full volley into the dragon's neck. The massive body blew apart mid-air — two sections tumbling separately.

Jake stepped off the wreckage and dropped like a meteorite.

BOOM!

Fifty-meter crater in front of Stark Tower. Shockwave flattening every symbiote hound in range.

Ultimate Humungousaur stood. Shook debris from his shoulders.

"Big guy — you're LATE!" Tony's joy cracked through his exhaustion. "Did you steal that knockoff's watch?"

"Swallowed its code."

Hundreds of symbiote hounds scrambled upright. No fear. Black slime stretching into tendrils, reforming their perimeter.

"Too many!" Steve shouted.

"Minions are just weeds."

Whoosh!

Humungousaur vanished.

Ultimate Echo Echo.

Blue mechanical warrior, hovering. Hundreds of sonic discs deployed — swarming outward, positioning themselves beside every symbiote creature in the square.

"Symbiotes are weak to sonic waves and fire."

Palms together.

"Sonic Death Array — maximum power."

VRRRR————!!!

Hundreds of discs fired simultaneously. Blue high-frequency waves formed an absolute ultrasonic killing field — no blind spots, no escape, no mercy.

"SCREEE————!!!"

The screams tore the night.

Genetic-level restraint. The symbiote slime boiled on contact with the sonic frequencies — couldn't reorganize, couldn't reform, couldn't survive. Every hound in the square dissolved into lifeless black ash in under five seconds.

The square was silent. Black ash covered everything.

The Avengers — who'd been fighting for hours against an unstoppable tide — stared at the clean ground.

Jake detransformed. Gwen swung down from the assault ship on a web-line, landing beside him.

"Nice work, Hacker." Thor walked over, Stormbreaker on his shoulder. "But this is a drop in the bucket."

Jake looked up.

No sun. Only darkness. The black substance writhed in the stratosphere — alive, hungry, expanding. Lightning flashes revealed thousands of symbiote dragons lurking in the cloud layer.

Earth had become a sealed cocoon.

"What happened?" Jake turned to Tony. "Where did this come from?"

"Outer space." Tony pulled up a projection. "Hours ago — sunspot anomaly. Then this black matter hit like a tsunami. Last satellite images before we lost contact show..."

The projection zoomed in. Near-Earth space.

A figure sat on a black throne. Pale hair. Armor composed entirely of living symbiote material. In his hand — a jet-black greatsword that seemed to cut light itself.

"Knull." Jake spoke the name.

"You know him?" Strange descended, the Time Stone on his chest pulsing green — resisting the darkness's corruption.

"The God of Symbiotes. The Lord of the Abyss." Jake's voice was flat. Clinical. "He wants to drag the universe back to a primordial age. Before light existed."

RRUMBLE.

The black sky bulged downward — forming a face. Massive. Covering all of Manhattan. Scarlet eyes burning through the eternal night, fixed on the Omnitrix.

Knull's projection.

"Anomaly."

The voice was ancient. Grinding metal. It didn't travel through air — it detonated inside every skull simultaneously.

"I smell... a scent that does not belong to this universe."

"Hand over your core. I shall grant Earth... a painless death."

Mental pressure descended — heavier than Thanos's Soul Stone, older than the Infinity Stones themselves.

Jake stood. Back straight. A spear driven into the darkness.

He raised his left hand.

The Omnitrix blazed green — the only light in a world that had forgotten what light was.

"You want my watch?"

Jake looked up at the face that covered the sky.

"Come down and take it."
