Lucy's POV
After a full course meal of a GST,I and Camille exited the class like it was the squid game. with me,academics was a neutral ground;didn't like it or hate it but lectures like these will make you want to lean into the latter "I really enjoyed Mr Watson's lecture" I replied wide eyed at Camille's statement "you did?" she just made a face at me "yeah I did,didn't you?"
Absolutely did....NOT
Giving a tight smile,I held her shoulders leading her to anywhere but here "how about we get something to eat,I'm hungry" I whined with a pout making her smile "me too,pegupaa" her words made me chuckle "pegu-what?"
"Pegupa,I heard it in a Korean skit I was watching during lectures and my brain happens to find it catchy" she replied as she scrolled through her phone "that's cute,but please don't be one of those cringy Korean lovers" the thought of it made me shudder "gurl,it's just one video besides to be cringe is to be free"

"Whatever you say,let's just walk faster my tummy is squeezing in" I whispered dramatically "hang in there,should we invite the boys?" we stared at each and said synonymously "nahhh"
I could eat all I want without Theo asking me questions or Skye telling me what was bad and wasn't bad for my health, The thought of Theodore asking me his usual dumb questions made me smile even though I didn't want to.

"Let's make it a date,just the two of us" Camille said with a flirty smile
"Oooh,I like the sound of that" with that,we strutted elegantly to go stuff our faces when we saw a familiar head of blue hair making my bestie freeze up "remember how I thought I'd know what to say when I see him?" she said breathlessly "yeahhhh" I replied unsure
"Well,I don't know shit" and off she was to the opposite direction
"fuck no!,you're going to thank that hotshot for being a gentleman last night" I whisper yelled at her "I don't think I can do that" she whisper yelled back making me smirk
"Do it or else...I'll yell his name before he gets here" her face turned ashen at my words,she knew I wasn't bluffing
"fuck you,Baker" she spat as we walked forward "you too Morgan"
The moment he was closer to us,Camille walked towards him with little confidence in her steps "Andre Makeila,hi!,I just wanted to tha_" and he walked past her,past us not forgetting to give her a bored,cold look.

Andre's POV
"You wanna know what went up my ass this morning? Oriena,that's what" I answered exasperated at Beck's question "what did she do this time?" and I told him the whole story "dude,she even went Spanish on your ass" he stated with a soft laugh "I don't get it,your line of work makes you do tons of intimate shoots with girls but helping one with a broken ankle sets her off?"
"Intimate is a strong word" he just gave me a bored look before saying "that's not the point".
Flipping to the next page of notes I took in my previous class,Beck just kept giving me "you're not saying everything" eyes which made me gently close my book, and sigh "I thin-I think she doesn't like Hazel,it's not just about the hospital thing"
"So you're saying,it seems they have history?" I nodded making him whistle
"Well damn bro,what's your game plan?"
my brow rose in disbelief "there's no game plan,the whole campus has been trying not to ask me about the article so,I'm just going to stick to the script of us being strangers" he flipped a page of his journal "sure you guys are" I glared at him for his sarcastic tone.

I was trying to convince myself but it was hardly working. We were already not exactly on talking terms but now,I have to completely avoid her....for her sake.
She couldn't handle the backlash of having an affair with a celebrity,this was to protect her before things get out of hand cause we all know news spread likes wild fire especially gossip...
Camille's POV
He stared at me so coldly that I shivered and he walked off
He's never looked at me like that
"What the actual fuck!,I'm sorry I tried to get you to thank that dick" Lucy said softly shooting fiery daggers in his direction,I squeezed her hand and gave a fake smile "it's alright Luce,we're strangers so fuck him"
"Yeah,let's go get yoghurt after lunch huh?" my voice came out shakily "of course" she hooked her arm in mine as we continued our walk.
I still couldn't believe what happened,it was embarrassing,I was confused and upset not to mention hungry. one night he's a total Prince Charming,the next,he's a frigging Disney villain.
I can't and will not be a part of whatever mind games he's playing,looks like us being strangers was definitely a good call.

"I still can't believe Andre Makeila did that to you,isn't he supposed to be the national sweetheart?" Lucy rambled with a huff "that's the thing Lucy,he's a national sweetheart not because he likes people but people like him" I explained In exhaustion as I bit into sushi
Why am I even explaining?!
" whatever!,its just I thought he was into you" her statement made me bite my cheek "he's not,he has a girlfriend"
"and I'm Lucy Baker,what other obvious things are we saying" with my hands going to adjust my hair which was braided in two I replied "really Luce? I will not be the girl someone's boyfriend likes"
Plus we have history..
"There is no law that a person's boyfriend can't like someone else,I'm not supporting him to make a move buttt
It's obvious you two have chemistry" rolling my eyes at her dumb talk,I sipped on my milk tea "I'm not that kind of girl Lucy"

"I know you're not and that's great cause y'know girl code" I squinted at her wanting her to spill more tea and she did
"Okay fine,my fan heart was kinda digging Camdre"
"Camdre?"
"Bad idea,how about Dremille" a burst of laughter flew out of my lips before it died down "as cute and funny as those ship names are,there will be no Camdre or Dremille period"
"It's not over till it's over babe" with that we entered into comfortable silence enjoying our lunch in the Asian themed restaurant on campus.
It was over before it even began and at this point I wasn't sure I wanted to do anything about it.
