Chapter 7 - little things

Class 8 was slowly moving forward.

Nothing big happened.

No dramatic moments.

Just small things.

But for Anna, those small things started meaning a lot.

One morning, she forgot her pencil box at home. She rarely forgot anything. During the test, she looked into her bag again and again, hoping it would magically appear.

It didn't.

Before she could panic, someone gently placed a pen on her desk.

"Use this," Oliver said quietly from behind.

Anna turned slightly. "But you—?"

"I have another one," he shrugged.

It was such a small thing.

But her heart remembered it the whole day.

A few days later, during group activity, the teacher divided the class into teams.

"Roll 11 and Roll 12 — same group," the teacher announced.

Emily immediately looked at Anna with wide eyes.

Anna tried to stay normal.

During the project work, Oliver sat beside her, discussing ideas seriously.

"You're good at organizing," he said. "You handle the writing part."

"And you can handle the presentation," Anna replied.

For the first time, they talked more than just homework.

They laughed once or twice.

Nothing special.

But to Anna, it felt special.

That evening, while lying on her bed, Anna replayed those small moments in her mind.

The pen.

The group project.

The way he said, "You're good at this."

She smiled without realizing.

It wasn't a big love story.

It wasn't even a story yet.

It was just little things.

And sometimes, little things are enough for a heart to fall deeper.

Quietly.

Without anyone knowing.

Not even Emily.

Not even Oliver.

Only Anna. 💕
