Now we head to the fight of RENJIT VS GUERRA. Both are giving their absolute best, clashing their swords at great speed—a fight without quarter, moving rapidly, blow and movement; they keep this up without losing their rhythm. Every moment, the intensity of the fight increases; rage can be seen in the eyes of both, when suddenly GUERRA retreats, pulls a bow out of nowhere, and fires arrows, forcing RENJIT to back off and gradually calm down.
RENJIT: Hey, wait a second, why am I feeling this? I'm not like this. What power do you have, you bastard? And where did you get that bow? You were carrying a sword just a moment ago.
GUERRA: Hmm, well, I don't think it would be any different if I didn't tell you. You are someone worthy of hearing my powers; I am GUERRA of Wrath, the lord of combat. Anyone who finds themselves near me will have the desire to fight; the rage in your system spikes like adrenaline, like when you exercise, and of course, that gives me more power. The more enemies, the better. And as for the bow—I, as sovereign of every battle that is or ever was in creation, am capable of handling any weapon made by mortals or gods, and I can invoke them freely. Of course, currently I have a limit for that, mortal. No human has ever faced a Horseman and lived to tell the tale. You amaze me, which is why I consider you a worthy rival. Now, let's begin with this (his face changes to pure fury).
Out of nowhere, GUERRA pulls out a spear and hurls it at RENJIT at high speed; it seems it has hit him, as a great cloud of dust has risen. GUERRA immediately goes to the spot with a great leap, making the spear disappear and a great sword appear in his hands. He delivers a massive strike where the spear had impacted previously, but he realizes no one is there. From behind him, RENJIT appears, attempting to attack GUERRA, but he dodges and kicks RENJIT, pushing him away, and looks at him seriously.
GUERRA: Brat, you have an ability; tell it to me. Be honorable with me as well.
RENJIT: Heh, you think I'll just say it like that? I'm not like you.
GUERRA summons a massive modern cannon from a warship, about 4 meters long, pointing directly at RENJIT. He is stunned, and GUERRA fires a projectile which creates a massive explosion, sending many soldiers who were still fighting nearby flying. RENJIT had disappeared again and appears behind GUERRA.
RENJIT: Hey, take it easy, I'll tell you, but don't get like that.
GUERRA: No need, I've seen it all now. It's the shadow, isn't it? You slip into your shadow and teleport to mine to emerge behind me.
RENJIT: Bingo, you got it, worthy of a Horseman. In my world, there were also legends about you, but I thought you'd be stronger.
GUERRA: Every word that comes out of your mouth irritates me more; I am becoming stronger. It is time to end this.
GUERRA makes his weapon disappear and the ground trembles. A crack opens in the floor, and a hilt emerges from it. GUERRA takes hold of it and, amidst fire and lava, pulls out a sword almost the size of GUERRA himself—an immense, sinister, and marvelous blade. RENJIT is shocked as GUERRA carries that sword as if it were nothing. GUERRA lunges at RENJIT, delivering a powerful blow which RENJIT dodges quickly. When he realizes it, the ground where he had been standing has been split in half with lava at the edges; the sword had produced a singular heat.
GUERRA: You are very skilled at dodging, mortal. It surprises me how much you have grown; I never thought a mortal would have your abilities.
RENJIT: What the hell is that weapon? It's so powerful. Where did you get it? It's incredible, I thought I'd never see something like that in my life. Well, of course, we are all dead, haha.
GUERRA: The mythical Sword of Chaos, created at the center of a galaxy which exploded and formed this blade at the beginning of time. (RENJIT looks at him strangely). Fine, I destroyed the galaxy and forged this sword with all the matter that was destroyed. This sword was created with thousands of souls, and now it will reap your soul—it will be your end.
RENJIT takes a battle stance, drawing a sword from his waist; from one moment to the next, he lunges at great speed toward GUERRA, attacking from every direction, but GUERRA just stands there, blocking each of RENJIT'S attacks so easily it seems he can see the future. RENJIT is surprised and decides to increase his speed, producing two shadow clones. GUERRA is impacted by the mortal's skill; the three RENJITs throw themselves at GUERRA, and he shifts more to the defensive. This time, blocking with much more difficulty, GUERRA begins to receive some cuts across his body. Seeing that he is being overwhelmed, he strikes the ground with monstrous force, causing a crater beneath him and making RENJIT'S shadows disappear. RENJIT falls hard onto a large rock, bleeding from his mouth and collapsing to the ground. Smoke begins to rise from GUERRA, and he looks strange.
GUERRA: Curse it, it's true—here my power is limited; this sword consumes too much energy. Fine, I'll leave it here. (The sword disappears, returning to the ground). I cannot carry it for long; it has drained too much of my strength. Fine, I'll fight just like this.
RENJIT stands up with difficulty, looking at GUERRA—who no longer has the sword—and becomes angry.
RENJIT: So I'm no longer worthy to you because you don't have that sword? Does my weakness offend you, you bastard?
GUERRA: I don't think you understand (exhausted). It's not because of your weakness, it's because of mine. But fine, it's time to get serious.
RENJIT: Fine, let's go all out; I'll introduce you to my special friends. (RENJIT reaches into his shadow and pulls out two katanas). Unlike yours, these swords don't consume energy, but they make me fight for real.
GUERRA: Fine, I will take you seriously, mortal. Let us fight (a red aura emanates from him). This is my Berserker power: every minute, my rage grows along with my strength. Let's see how much you can endure.
RENJIT: (In his mind) Damn, it was already hard to control myself because of his power, but now the bloodlust I feel is even stronger. God, control yourself, RENJIT, channel this rage. (He takes a deep breath and calms down).
GUERRA: Interesting, mortal, but you won't be able to keep your composure for long, hahahaha!
The battle begins at high speed, their swords clashing; a glow is visible throughout the surrounding area. Out of nowhere, GUERRA retreats and summons a minigun, firing; RENJIT can only dodge rapidly by slipping into the shadows. GUERRA turns around, thinking he will emerge from his own shadow, but this time RENJIT comes out of other shadows cast by the rocks, since the battlefield by this point was completely destroyed and filled with shadows. GUERRA, astonished, tries to react, but RENJIT manages to slash his back in the shape of an "X." GUERRA grimaces in pain, but quickly leaps into the air and throws explosive grenades, hitting RENJIT and sending him flying far away. Quickly, GUERRA summons innumerable spears and hurls them one after another, raising a massive curtain of dust.
When everything settles, we see that RENJIT has been pierced by a spear in his left side. RENJIT breaks off the ends of the spear, leaving a piece embedded in him to prevent him from bleeding out. The pain he felt was immense, and he felt he couldn't go on, but the rage he felt kept him on his feet. He quickly lunges at GUERRA, slashing his entire body, but GUERRA only winces, as Berserker mode doesn't allow him to feel much pain. GUERRA summons two longswords, clashing against RENJIT'S katanas over and over and over again.
Minutes pass and GUERRA has also reached his limit; the swords disappear and he pulls out a large Viking axe, which he wields with both hands, delivering a massive blow toward RENJIT. He covers himself with his katanas, but the moment they block it, the katanas shatter, and it seems as though a heavy blow has fallen upon RENJIT. It seems everything is over, but when GUERRA realizes it, there is no one in front of him, and out of nowhere, a black object tears open GUERRA'S chest. He turns, and it was RENJIT, who with his last breath managed to further master his power over shadows, manifesting a spear made of shadow and successfully impaling GUERRA'S chest. RENJIT withdraws his power from GUERRA'S thorax, and the latter falls to the ground, bleeding profusely. It is finally over.
GUERRA: (spitting blood) Look at that... a great mortal appeared in hell... Hmm, and it turns out he has amazing powers.
RENJIT: (Kneels from exhaustion) To think... (heavy breathing) that you... could be defeated. Not even in my dreams did I think I'd beat a Horseman. Farewell, GUERRA.
GUERRA: Don't think too much of yourself, kid (spitting blood from his mouth), you only won against my 5%... So train harder, perhaps we will meet again.
RENJIT: It is an honor to be able to beat you (nearly fainting).
GUERRA is disintegrating, while RENJIT watches him. The piece of the spear he had in his body also disappears, causing RENJIT to begin bleeding out and fall to the ground.
RENJIT: Curse it... in the end, I think it was a draw. He could have beaten me by making that shaft disappear, but I see he has honor (he faints).
It seemed all was lost for RENJIT, but at that moment MALEKIN lands nearby, healing him with his magic. Not far off, we see MUERTE slowly approaching them. MALEKIN notices and quickly heals what he can of the spear wound before retreating from the area with RENJIT in his arms. Later on, RENJIT wakes up in MALEKIN'S arms.
RENJIT: Hey, MALEKIN, put me down for a second.
MALEKIN: You're awake already? Good. Let's rest for a moment; the other Horseman is coming for us, but he's moving very slowly. It's strange. Tell me something, who did you face? I fought DISPUTA.
RENJIT: Mine was called GUERRA, and he was very strong. We ended in a draw, and I'm not ashamed to say it. Could you put something over your mouth? It's scaring me.
MALEKIN: Don't be ashamed—you're alive and he isn't, so you won. Say it with pride. And as for the other thing, fine, you coward. (He ties a handkerchief over his mouth).
RENJIT: Thanks for cheering me up. So, if you fought DISPUTA and I fought GUERRA, that leaves AZOTE and MUERTE. Which one is the one following us?
MALEKIN: I think it's MUERTE. They say he's the strongest of them all. I feel a great power coming from him, and besides, he carries that great scythe on his back; I figured it out because of that, too.
RENJIT: Then HERACLES is fighting AZOTE. Quick, heal me; he's dangerous too, right? Have you ever heard stories about AZOTE?
MALEKIN: Yes, he is dangerous for different reasons. We have to go fast. I thought I would be of more help to you; knowing HERACLES, he can fend for himself, but AZOTE is not someone to be underestimated.
RENJIT: You dummy, if you hadn't come to me, I'd be dead. By the way, thanks, Smiley.
MALEKIN: Stop giving me nicknames and shut up so I can heal you quickly.
RENJIT: Fine, get on with it.
MALEKIN quickly heals RENJIT, and they set off at full speed in search of their friend. HERACLES' fight is near the city's main gate, quite far from their current position. Meanwhile, we see MUERTE riding peacefully across the battlefield.
MUERTE: This feels good. I'm in no hurry to end this; I believe AZOTE will take care of everything before I even arrive. Fine, I'll enjoy the view, even if all of this is depressing (sighs). Well, they don't always let me out of the dimension where we stay.
A demon and a human try to attack MUERTE, but as soon as they get near him, they drop to the ground lifeless. Their souls are gathered by the necklace MUERTE wears around his neck, and their bodies age rapidly, turning to dust.
MUERTE: Idiots. Knowing who I am, they still think of approaching me, hehe. Well, I never get tired of seeing that—when mortals and demons die in such a revolting way. The good thing is that my power grows with every death. Well, we shall continue on our way. It's a shame DISPUTA and GUERRA lost; when this is over, I will speak very seriously with them. What a disgrace to dishonor us with their losses; there is no forgiveness for that. Well, on with our little trip (he hums the funeral march).
While all this is happening, we see a desperate MAMMON on the other side of the battlefield, at the same time our friends race to reach HERACLES. Is the final battle against the Horsemen approaching? Whoever knows how this ends, we shall see it later on.
