Jay's pov
He was only partially conscious and I had to move him from the driver's seat, I know it is going to be difficult but I have to do it somehow, I tried to pull him back but it was difficult,
Then suddenly someone banged on the window I got startled, I turned to see it was David,
Jay: "What are you doing here?"
David: "How can I send you alone to this place during this rain"
Jay: " Okay, Now can you help me move him back"
David: "I'll drive and I will send someone to get the cars"
He helped me move Keifer to the back seat and I made him lie down and his head was on my lap,
we were finally settled and I felt at relief,
David: "Did you guys fight?"
Jay: "No, I said I just needed some space and time"
David: "Shit"
Jay: "Why did you ask?"
David: "Whenever he remembers he let you down or hurt you or he is hurt, he will drive all the way out of the city while drinking"
Jay: "What? what are you saying David"
David: "I think you should know this, he drunk a lot to ease the pain but it atleast made him numb for while"
Jay: "You mean all these years he has done that"
He nods his head,
Jay: "Why didn't you try to stop him?"
David: "I did but it only got worse, he tried to self harm himself"
tears started pouring my eyes as soon as he said, I just caressed his hair,
David: "Jay, I am not saying this to make you feel bad or to hurt, I am saying this as Keifer's friend and I know he might not say this to you, but this what he does, he lost you one time and now he live in a constant fear that you are going to leave him or he is going to lose you somehow, so even a little actions hurt him, I can also understand you but right now all he need is you, and even if he see a tiny possibility that he might loose you, he will bounce back to how he was, and now only he started healing slowly, So please take care"
I nodded my head while wiping my tears,
We finally reached home and David helped me to bring Keifer inside and settle him,
David: "Take care"
and then he left,
Keifer was on the bed, he was still partially conscious and he was holding my hands,
I noticed my clothes were still wet from the rain, So I decided to change them, I tried to remove his hold from my hands but it was really tight and while trying I heard him mutter,
Keifer: "Please don't leave me Jay, please" he muttered in his drunken voice,
I cupped his face and his eyes were half open, and
Jay: "I will change my clothes and will come back Keif, I am not going anywhere"
I said and removed his hold with difficulty and he kept muttering my name,
Keifer: "Jay"
I went in to go change quickly and while I was almost done with changing I heard some scattering of things I panicked and went out to see Keifer was up from bed and he was trying to move and he pushed the things for support,
It was clear that he was struggling to stand and his eyes were red,
Keifer: "Jay." He muttered looking at me and stumble and fell on his knees,
Jay: "Keifer." I shouted and went to him,
I held him and tapped his face and he looked at me when I did that,
He suddenly held me and started saying,
Keifer: "Jay, Jay please don't leave please."
He was almost begging in his crying voice,
It broke my heart to see him like this,
Jay: "Keifer look at me, I am not going anywhere."
But he wasn't in a state to listen,
Keifer: "Sorry Jay, I will not hurt you, don't leave." He kept blabbering in his drunken voice,
Jay: "Keifer, Keif." I finally held his face and made him look at me and he stopped muttering and looked me in the eye.
Jay: "Relax, breathe."
He finally did and I made a little steady and held him and he was turning normal but not fully,
Jay: "I am not going anywhere, I am not leaving you Keif. Okay?"
He nodded slowly and also relaxing,
Jay: "I love you Keifer." I said with a smile,
Jay: "I always do, I am going to be with always."
I said and wiped his tears and hugged him tightly and he did too,
He held on to me for a while and I also didn't want to let go of him after seeing him in this condition.
Then his hiccups started and I pulled back and took water from the table and fed it to him.
After that he immediately stood and ran to the washroom and he started vomiting,
I ran behind him and held his head from behind, while he was doing it and he was struggling and I patted his back gently.
He was finally done but he was drowned and exhausted to even move, I held him and removed his shirt and threw them away since there were covered in the remains,
Then I washed his face and body with hot wet towels and I supported him to the room and made him lie on the bed.
And Let out a breathe,
I covered him with blanket and sat next to him , and slowly caressed his face while smiling with tears,
He held my hand in sleep and mumbled,
Keifer: "I Love you Jay." and my tears fell,
I bent down and placed a kiss on his forehead,
Then lie on the bed and moved closer towards him and made him lie on my chest, to make him feel safe and he nuzzled more into my neck, sensing me and hugged me and I caressed his head and once again kissed him.
Jay: "I Love you Keif."
