Keifer's Pov
He handed me the phone and I was shocked to see, it was photos of Jay and I from the previous day from the office and it had nasty caption saying she seduced and the comments were even worse and my blood boiled seeing those and it infuriated me and I wanted to kill the person whoever did this, and they way people were talking about her only made it worse, what hell do they think they know about us,
Keifer: "Who did this?" I asked in a stern voice,
David: "I'll try to find out"
Keifer: "I'll call Jay"
I called her multiple times but there was no response and I was growing anxious thinking about her reaction,
Keifer: "She is not answering, try calling Sara"
David did but she too didn't answer, and it made only worry more but I know that they both are together and I asked David to track her phone and both of them were in Sara's place, I wanted to go there immediately but I felt like I had do something else before that
Keifer: "Take me to our office and arrange a meeting, everyone should be present, No excuse, by the time we reach there everything should be ready"
David: "I'll take care of it"
I asked him to make some special arrangements for the meeting,
Soon we reached the office and everyone was present in the meeting room and their face looked feared, as they should be after talking about My Jay,
I went in the front to address and see everyone,
Keifer: "I know what you are thinking, why we are gathered here, but I think you guys know the reason"
"I heard that you guys are more interested in my personal life than in work and I thought why they hell am I even paying these people, but since all you guys were interested let me tell you something, No actually let me show you something"
I said and signalled David, and he played the projector,
It showed a photos of us, Jay and I during college,
Keifer: "So many of humiliated her by saying that she seduced me for money, Well thank you for making me recognize you guys aren't worthy of this Job, and just by that thought I can understand your characters and this is not to prove anything this is just to show what an idiot you people are,
She was with me when I had nothing and was a nobody, she never loved me for my money and everything that I have today belongs to her and you guys did the grave mistake of humiliating her" I shouted at everyone because I was filled with rage,
Keifer: "DAVID, fire everyone who was involved in this and even had small part in this"
I said and walked away while the employees were begging me, but I did not show mercy because I don't play when it comes to her,
I went to my car and immediately drove to Sara's house and now my heart started beating fast because I was scared thinking what was Jay going through, I held steering tightly and my knuckles turned white and was driving fast,
I was finally there and I ran inside and went, Sara came and opened the door,
Keifer: "Where is she?"
Sara: "She is inside"
I didn't wait for a moment, I went inside and saw Jay curled up in the couch, I immediately went towards her, her eyes were filled with tears, and it broke my heart that she has to go through something like this,
Keifer: "Jay" I called for her in a lower tone and hugged her immediately, and tears poured in my eyes, she just stayed still
Keifer: " Jay, I am sorry, I am sorry" I kept repeating multiple times and held her closer,
I pulled away and cupped her face and wiped her tears,
Keifer: "Jay, don't think about those stupid things, they don't know anything they are talking, you don't have to think about it, It is just some stupid baseless news" I said trying to comfort her,
Jay: "I don't want to talk about it Keifer" she said it a way that I know she was hurt,
I wiped my tears and started talking,
Keifer: "Okay, let's not talk about it, Let's just go home cook dinner and sleep, I know you love that" I said holding her hand and trying to move out of the room,
But she held my hand and still did not move from the place,
I turned to see her tear filled face,
Jay: "Keifer, I am going to stay here for few days I think I need some space" she says, I don't why it hurt me as soon as she said that, maybe because she is hurt and she is not leaning on me,
I try to control my tears and speak to her
again, My lips tremble before words come out,
Keifer: "Well, I just.. never mind, whatever you want " I try to say it with a smile because I didn't want to hurt her.
Keifer: "Call when ever you want to and take care"
she nods her tear stricken face, it only hurts me more,
I place a soft kiss on forehead hoping it would take away all her pain,
Keifer: "I love you"
and she gives me a smile which I knows is not genuine because I can only see the pain in her eyes.
