Jay's Pov
Sara and I settled in our table,
Sara: "What is all this?" She asked in a shocking way especially after seeing Keifer and me in such position.
Jay: "Actually.." I explained to her everything that has happened and when I did she teared up a little,
Sara: "I am sorry" she said and hugged me, I got a little emotional because of the hug,
Sara: "I don't know why fate has to put you both through such difficult test but I am just glad you both found your way to each other"
I smiled when she said that, we pulled away,
Sara: "I think I should also ask sorry to him, because you know I always cursed him and gave him looks for what I thought he did to you."
And both of us turned to look at Keifer, who had fallen asleep while sitting in the couch,
I smiled,
Sara: "Maybe next time"
I nodded,
Sara: "I know you guys need time alone, So I am leaving, also you know you can take a few days off, and enjoy a little"
Jay: "I was thinking the same thing"
She nodded and hugged me once more and left,
I send her off and came back to see Keifer still sleeping on the couch in sitting position,
I wanted to wake him up and ask him to sleep in the room, but his sleep would be disturbed.
So I decided to let him, and sat in the couch and noticed how uncomfortable his position, I couldn't help, So I slowly tried to move him because he wouldn't wake up, and placed his head on my lap and made him lie on the couch, with his head on my lap.
Something about it made my heart full, I slowly caressed his hair and was looking at him, I couldn't help so I placed a soft kiss on his forehead and was still caressing his hair and face.
He had no one to take care of him but he always took care of us, I don't know why like Sara said why our fate has to be so cruel to us, but it doesn't matter now because I will be always be there for him, I said caressing his hair. And placed a soft kiss again on his head.
I did not want this moment to stop, I don't know when I also slept in that position, after few hours I woke up, It was almost time for dinner, but I do not want to wake him up, not yet, So I decided to order food for us, instead of making it.
After few minutes the food was delivered at the door step, I decided to wake him up for dinner,
Jay: "Keif, Keif"
He slowly opened his eyes and saw me and instantly his face turned into a smile, I smiled back,
Jay: "Wake up it's time for dinner"
Then only he realised he slept on my lap and got,
Keifer: "Sorry, when I did sleep like this"
Jay: "You slept on the couch, it was looking uncomfortable, So I made you sleep like this"
Keifer: "You could have just kept a pillow"
Jay: "Why you don't like sleeping like this?"
Keifer: "The best sleep I have had in years"
I smile,
Jay: "Okay come let's have dinner"
Keifer: "You made it?"
Jay: "No, Takeout on the door"
Keifer: "You stay her I will get everything"
He brings everything and set the food, while I choose a movie to watch,
Both of us start eating, while watching the film, and finally done eating and washes the dishes and settle on the couch again, to watch the movie, there is enough space between us and we are sitting next to each other.
I was watching the movie, then I notice from the corner of my eye, that he is trying to move his hand towards mine which is on the couch next to his, A shy smile came in my face when I noticed that.
He slowly intertwined our little fingers together with a little hesitation, I looked at him as soon as he did, I can tell he was little scared, but what I did next shocked him, I intertwined our whole fingers and put it over my shoulder and laid my head on his chest, I turned my head to see his face, he had a huge smile when I did that. He pulled me a little closer.
Keifer: "Jay" he called me in a lower tone.
I turned and looked at him,
Jay: "Hmm"
Keifer: "Will you go on a date with me tomorrow?" He asked in a softest tone, my heart melted.
But I wanted to annoy him a little, So I just smiled at him and turned to watch the movie again, I can see the change in his expression.
Keifer: "Hey"
I just laughed at him and he understood what I was upto and started tickling me and I started laughing and couldn't stop.
Jay: "Keifer, stop please" I said in between my laughter
Keifer: "Then answer my question." He asked still tickling me,
Jay: "Yes, yes I will go on a date with you" I said while still laughing.
He finally stopped and hugged me.
