Jay's Pov
We came to my apartment and settled in my room, that's when I saw him and remembered, that I should change his wound dressing, I took the first aid box and sat in front of him,
Jay: "Show me your hand"
he behaved like an obedient kid and did and I finished dressing the wound, he was looking at me while I did, I was fully focused on his hand, when I finished I realised he was staring at me, I raised my eyebrows at him
Keifer: "Thanks"
Jay: "For this?"
he just nodded his head in a no,
Jay: "You have become weird you know"
He just chuckled,
Jay: "Okay, you take rest, I will do the work and come"
Keifer: "Maybe I can help you"
Jay: "No, you are supposed to rest, I can see in your face, you need it."
Keifer: "Okay, but come soon"
Jay: "Done"
I went out and started working on orders and in middle, I went to check on him, to see he is sound asleep, I just smiled looking at him, I came out and was still working, then I decided to make something special for him, I decided to make a cake for him.
I kept the cake in the oven and went to check on Keifer, he was sleeping, I couldn't help but join him, he looked so cute, I was admiring his face, Then suddenly he pulled me closer in his sleep,
Our face were so close that we were breathing on each other, I think he sensed that, because he slowly moved and opened his eyes and saw me, I don't know but I was flustered,
My eyes moved to his lips and back to his eyes and so did his, he leaned in closer and I did not move, I think I leaned in too, and we were about to kiss,
Then we heard a ding sound and jerked and moved, both of us were flustered,
Jay: "It's the oven I have to go and check" I said and went out, We both were so flustered like teenagers going to kiss for the first time but if you think of it, it is out first time after 8 years, except for the accidental kiss that day.
So I guess we were excited and nervous at the same time, and here I am standing and blushing.
I decided to decorate the cake a little, when he came out and looked for me,
Jay: "Wait a minute, I will come", he settled on the couch,
I finished decorating the cake and took it and went to him,
Jay: "This is for you" I said handing it over to him,
Keifer: "You made this for me?"
Jay: "Yes, why are looking so surprised"
Keifer: "I don't know because you and Keiren always made me cook"
Jay: "Well this is not cooking this is baking and if you don't want it you can give it to me"
Keifer: "No,no Its looks so pretty and you made it for me"
Jay: "Have it"
He took a bite,
Keifer: "Wow, this sooo sooo good, like really"
I just chuckle and say "Thanks" and start eating,
Keifer: "When did you learn to do all this?"
Jay: "Like 7 years ago, I wanted to do something, so that you know I don't have voices in head, and change my focus on something else, I tried many things but with this I feel in love."
He keeps looking at me while I am talking,
I raise my eyebrows,
Jay: "What?"
Keifer: "I missed this, your non stop talking, Also I wanted to know what all happened in these 8 years, I want to learn all the new things that you did in these 8 years, things that you hated and things that you loved"
I just smile looking at him, he his hands move closer to my face, he moves his hands to wipe my face and suddenly I became totally aware of our proximity, he wipes the corner my mouth, but his hands lingers there and he keeps looking at me in a softest way possible, I also do the safe.
Both of us slowly and steadily lean in, for the first kiss in 8 years, his hand cups my face and my hands clutch my skirt. We move a little bit closer, and I close my eyes,
Then we hear the door opening sound and both of us jerk again to see a shocked Sara,
Sara: "Girlll"
Boths of us jerked and moved while being flustered, I turned red,
Sara: "I was so worried about you, that I came here to check on you because you were not picking up any calls from yesterday, Thank god I had the spare key and I come here and what are you doing here"
She asks pointing us,
We look like a kid that has been caught.
Jay: "Ahh.. That.. it's"
Sara: "What?"
I finally calm myself down and take Sara to the dining area .
