Chapter 95 - Chapter 95 Finished

Chapter 95 Finished

After receiving Atsushi's promise, Ash, along with Pikachu and Togepi, entered the RV where Mr. Mime was located.

Mr. Mime saw a face it had never seen before appear in front of it, "Bari?" (Who are you?)

Despite the questioning, the guy not only didn't stand up, but he didn't even put down the snack in his hand.

"I'm here to train you, you deadbeat!" Ash sneered.

"???"

Hearing Ash's colorful language, Mr. Mime's hand stiffened, and its eyes stared intently at Ash.

"What are you looking at? I'm talking about you. Don't you even look at what you look like now? Calling you a deadbeat is an insult to the word. You eat so much, why don't you just eat yourself into a ball? That way, you wouldn't even need to walk; using a more rounded method to move instead of walking, isn't that better than how you are now?"

"Bari Bari!" (I'm not a deadbeat!)

"Oh, right, right, you're not a deadbeat, you're a dead deadbeat. Don't you even look in a mirror to see what you've become?"

"Bari!"

Mr. Mime angrily stood up and glared at Ash.

Ash wasn't intimidated, directly glaring back at Mr. Mime: "What, you want to hit me? Do you think you can beat me?"

"Bari!"

Mr. Mime was furious and raised its hand, intending to punch Ash to vent its anger.

"Pikachu, give it a lesson," Ash said.

Pikachu understood and released a current that would only paralyze Mr. Mime.

"Mr. Mime, I know you rebelled because Miss Atsushi's training was too strict, and yet she spoiled you greatly outside of training.

But don't worry, the transformation I'm about to put you through will show you the price of rebellion."

"Go to the training ground immediately, or you won't have dinner tonight and won't get a good night's sleep," Ash commanded.

"Bari"

Mr. Mime twisted its head, determined to be stubborn to the end.

However, this time it had met its match. Ash wasn't Atsushi; that little whip only lashed at the air and the ground. Ash's fists didn't care about Pokémon; he went straight for an over-the-shoulder throw, then held it down for a brutal beating.

Fists rained down, beating Mr. Mime until it begged for mercy on the spot: "Bari Bari~"

Ash stood up, patted off non-existent dust from his body, and said disdainfully, "If you had done this earlier, it would have saved trouble. You just had to take a beating."

Mr. Mime was a little afraid of Ash now; its owner had never beaten it like this. How could an outsider do this?

"Don't just stand there, get out of the car and train!"

Outside the car, the few people who witnessed the entire process but didn't hear Ash and Mr. Mime's conversation were full of questions. They were all curious about what Ash said to Mr. Mime and what made Ash resort to violence.

However, seeing Mr. Mime obediently follow Ash out of the car, the three also came forward.

"Miss Atsushi, the upcoming training requires your cooperation. You guide the training needed for circus performances, and I will be responsible for making it listen and follow through," Ash said to Atsushi.

"Okay."

Then, the group went to the performance big top.

"Mr. Mime, next up is the mime performance."

Atsushi took out her small whip, and her expression showed a huge contrast. One second she was a caring big sister, the next she was a whip-wielding queen, cracking her small whip with a loud snap.

Seeing Atsushi like this, Mr. Mime felt even more nervous. First, it was physically threatened by Ash, and now there was the cracking of the small whip.

Although it knew Atsushi wouldn't hurt it, the fear in its heart still caused it to make countless mistakes during training.

And Atsushi's expression also changed from excitement to a bit of disappointment.

Seeing this, Ash said to Pikachu, "Pikachu, give Mr. Mime some motivation."

Pikachu used Thunder Shock therapy on Mr. Mime again.

"Mr. Mime, I just said that if you don't train seriously, the consequences will be severe. Think about whether you choose to be disciplined by me or educated by Atsushi."

Ash just wanted Mr. Mime to understand that he was more formidable than Atsushi. This method was actually similar to the principle of finding a new Mr. Mime to stimulate it. It's just that Ash's method involved two different Trainers using different training methods to make it clear who was best for it, while the latter added a competitor to increase a sense of crisis.

Hearing Ash's warning, Mr. Mime thought for a moment and then began to seriously accept Atsushi's training.

Ultimately, Atsushi was its owner, and the circus treated it much better than other Pokémon. Not only did it have its own car, but the interior decoration was also to its liking, with food and lodging provided, and life was very comfortable.

"Ash, your method worked!" Misty said.

"It's not that my method worked, but that Miss Atsushi's Mr. Mime understood."

"However, Atsushi's training method is indeed very wrong. Let alone Pokémon, even humans would be scared to see it," Ash said.

After the training, Ash explained the situation to Atsushi, and Atsushi also stated that she would improve her method of training Mr. Mime.

After resolving this matter, Ash returned home and saw the wild Mr. Mime he had asked Gardevoir to bring home earlier. It was now wearing an apron and cooking at the stove, while his mother, Delia, watched Mr. Mime's actions with a smile.

"Mom, I'm home!" Ash called out.

"Oh, Ash, you're back just in time. Mr. Mime has already prepared dinner," Delia greeted them when she saw Ash and the others return.

"This Mr. Mime can even cook?" Misty and Brock both looked at that Mr. Mime in surprise.

"It's very smart; it learned after just one lesson," Delia said with a smile.

"Mom, in that case, this Mr. Mime will stay at home, right?"

Hearing Ash's words, Delia said with some surprise, "Huh? Ash, don't you need it?"

When Gardevoir brought Mr. Mime back, Delia had thought it was a Pokémon Ash had caught to use in battles.

"I didn't catch it, Mom. Since it listens to you so well, you should catch it. I have many Pokémon stored in the professor's research lab backyard, and they're enough for battles and such."

Actually, Ash was afraid his mother would feel lonely when he was traveling, so he had Gardevoir bring this Mr. Mime back early to see if it would be captivated by his mother's bowl of curry rice, just like in the original story.

It seemed his goal had been achieved.

In his future journeys, Ash also planned to catch some suitable Pokémon to keep at home to accompany his mother.
