Stephanie's POV
"You…" Lexi stared at Alex, then back at me. "You know him?" Her dark brows frowned together.
I stayed quiet for a second. Should I tell her I got married to the guy she gossips about, or just make something up?
"You got married, didn't you?" Before I could even speak, Lexi said it. Her hands were on her hips as she stared down at me.
"How did you know?" I blurted, stunned by her question. How did she know? Was she mind-reading now?
"You are wearing a damn ring on your finger." Her eyes glanced at my ring. "Don't even think of saying you bought it yourself, you're one of the biggest cheapskates out there. You don't even buy food." Lexi continued.
"Is he the husband?" Lexi glared back at Alex, a look of disgust on her face.
