Kaiba watched her carefully. "Kisaragi. Is this not to your taste? If you can't eat it, I'll have the chef remake everything."
He reached for his phone.
"N-no, no!" Kisaragi waved frantically. "This is more than enough. I'm not picky!"
If food like this doesn't suit my palate, I deserve divine punishment, she complained inwardly.
She took her first bite.
"It's delicious!" Her face lit up with unconcealed happiness.
Seeing that expression, Kaiba's mood lifted with it—his appetite noticeably improving.
After dinner, Mokuba suddenly blurted out, "Big Sis Kisaragi! How about you duel me once?"
"Mokuba," Kaiba said bluntly, "you'll lose embarrassingly."
"But I really want to see how strong she is," Mokuba insisted.
"…Alright," Kisaragi agreed.
Kaiba glanced at her, already reading the outcome. "Kisaragi, are you planning to use the deck you used against me and make my brother cry?"
He knew if she brought out a Blue-Eyes deck, Mokuba wouldn't get a duel—he'd get a public execution.
Kisaragi chuckled. "Of course not. Didn't you give me that briefcase of cards? I'll just build a deck from what's inside."
"…Fine."
"Yesss! Awesome!" Mokuba pumped a fist.
Kisaragi spent only ten minutes assembling a deck.
"Mokuba, let's begin."
"Okay!"
They sat facing each other at the dining table, while Kaiba took the seat between them to observe.
"Duel!" "Duel!"

Turn 1 — Mokuba
"Big Sis Kisaragi, I'll go first!"
"My turn—draw!"
"I activate Thunder Dragon's effect! I send it from my hand to the Graveyard, and add two Thunder Dragon from my Deck to my hand!"
Next, he slapped down a spell.
"Then I activate Polymerization! I fuse the two Thunder Dragons in my hand—Fusion Summon! Come out: Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon!"

He set one card facedown.
"End my turn! (Cards in hand: 3)"
Kisaragi glanced at Kaiba. "President Kaiba, I didn't expect your brother to drop a boss monster on turn one."
Kaiba scoffed. "He's okay. Still too green."
Turn 2 — Kisaragi
"My turn—draw!"
"I activate Graceful Charity. I draw three cards, then discard two."
Then she set one monster facedown, and set two more cards.
"End my turn. (Cards in hand: 3)"
Mokuba frowned. Is she bricking? No high-level monsters?
Turn 3 — Mokuba
"My turn—draw!"
"I Normal Summon Luster Dragon in Attack Position!"
Luster Dragon (ATK 1900 / DEF 1600)
"Battle! Luster Dragon, attack her facedown monster!"
"Flip my set card!" Kisaragi revealed it calmly. "I activate the Continuous Trap Gravity Bind! While this card is on the field, Level 4 or higher monsters cannot attack."
"What?! You set up something like that?" Mokuba protested.
Kisaragi smiled sweetly. "Mokuba… your turn isn't over yet."
Gritting his teeth, Mokuba set one more card.
"End my turn! (Cards in hand: 3)"
Turn 4 — Kisaragi
"My turn—draw!"
"I Normal Summon Rescue Rabbit in Attack Position."
Rescue Rabbit (ATK 300 / DEF 100)
Kaiba's eyes narrowed. A 300 ATK monster? What is she planning…?
"Next, I activate Monster Reborn. I Special Summon Rescue Cat from the Graveyard!"
Rescue Cat (ATK 300 / DEF 100)
Mokuba blinked. "Big Sis Kisaragi… why are you summoning so many low-level monsters?"
Kisaragi didn't answer—she just kept going.
"I activate Rescue Rabbit's effect! I banish it to Special Summon two identical Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters from my Deck! They're destroyed during the End Phase."
Two monsters hit the table.
"I Special Summon two Mystical Elf!"
Mystical Elf ×2 (ATK 1900 / DEF 2000)(the text lists 1900/900, but the story treats them as normal beaters)
"Then I activate Rescue Cat's effect! I send it to the Graveyard to Special Summon two Level 3 or lower Beast monsters from my Deck— their effects are negated, and they're destroyed during the End Phase!"
Two more appeared.
"I Special Summon Monoceros and Cat's Fairy!"

Cat's Fairy (ATK 1100 / DEF 900)
Kaiba's gaze drifted to the monster Kisaragi had set earlier. So that's it…
Mokuba laughed, still confident. "Even if you flood the field, those attack points aren't beating my Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon."
Kisaragi tilted her head, amused. "If I said this duel ends this turn, what would you do?"
Both Kaiba and Mokuba stiffened.
The Trap Springs — "Death Rabbit"
Kisaragi flipped her facedown monster.
"I Flip Summon Doom Donuts—Death Rabbit!"
Death Rabbit (ATK 1000 / DEF 1900)
Kaiba spoke at once, voice sharp. "Death Rabbit…"
Mokuba turned to him, startled. "Brother—what is that? Why do you look shocked?"
Kaiba didn't take his eyes off the card. "Because your homework is lacking. When Death Rabbit is Flip Summoned, it inflicts 1000 damage for each face-up Normal Monster on its controller's field."
Mokuba's pupils shrank. "Then that means—"
Kaiba finished it for him. "Kisaragi has four face-up Normal Monsters. Mokuba—you're taking 4000 damage."
Mokuba's Counter… and Kisaragi's Counter to the Counter
"Then—no!" Mokuba slapped his facedown card. "I activate the Trap Soul of the Pure! I gain LP equal to (number of monsters on the field) × 300!"
"There are six monsters on the field, so I gain 1800 LP!"
But Kisaragi was already turning over her own facedown.
"Then I activate Trap Stun. For this turn, all other Trap effects on the field are negated."
Mokuba went pale. "What?! Then my Trap—"
"Negated," Kisaragi confirmed. "No Life Point recovery. And now… Death Rabbit resolves."
Mokuba Kaiba: LP 4000 → 0
Kisaragi Aoi Wins!
Mokuba sat frozen, as if someone had pulled the plug on his brain.
Kaiba, however, wore the faintest hint of satisfaction—like a mentor watching a lesson land cleanly.
