Chapter 4 - Phoenix?

Deep in Moonlight distress, he met face with a mysterious figure. She had long black hair and eyes. Placed on his bed, she made a sudden appearance. "Good morning, Moonlight, my son."

The voice was low, calm and mysterious. Moonlight felt it too, that voice that draws you closer. Moonlight, however, was shaken. He observed her slowly.

The morning sun glued to her skin. She had a scarf on her neck, which dragged over to her left arm. This dressing alone created more questions for Moonlight.

"Come here Moonlight." The lady tapped on the bed lightly; her attention focused on Moonlight.

Of course, this affected Moonlight mentally. His body shivered. A familiar cold moved through his skin like a cold winter night. What's this feeling? It's dangerous.

"Please come, Moonlight." The lady called again, her voice rising. She hit the bed, ferociously. Eyes centered on Moonlight fully.

Moonlight however, slowly turned his body over to the door, in an attempt to run away from this dangerous sensation. BAM!

The door slammed shut.

Moonlight was surprised. Who did that?

"I said come right here!" the lady voice rose again. She no longer kept a straight face.

Moonlight reasoned, there was nothing he could do right now. "Okay…" he said quietly as he went closer to her.

Moonlight sat comfortably on his bed; his mind was uncomfortable. He faced the side of the wall, diverting from the woman's gaze. The woman noticed this and exhaled slowly.

"Hey there, Moonlight. Do you want to stay here or leave with me?" She began.

"Huh"

"Since you were little like two years ago or some…you have spent all your days sheltered in this place. I have no idea what you did during that time. You may not want to leave, but, if you do, please tell me."

She made a long speech and Moonlight listened.

"…"

"It's okay if you can't answer me now. You will be taught everything you need today. A test will come after and please." She held Moonlight tightly. "I want an answer, please."

She looked to be crying, though not visible.

Moonlight just watched, unsure of what's happening. He already wanted to leave the house after his experience with the library.

"Does the world outside have a library?" He murmured.

"Huh."

"…nothing."

Though short, hearing his voice made the lady's eyes to scream in excitement. She gave a big smile, as she hugged Moonlight more warmly. Moonlight unconsciously returned the favor.

After a long reunion session, Moonlight ran out of the room in haste. He did not believe that ended quickly, "Phoenix" he whispered along the stretched hallway.

"A library?" murmured Phoenix. "Is he a bookworm?"

Moonlight runs over to the location where they were supposed to be get together at noon. He moved hastily. Deep in his mind, he prayed for any unnecessary meeting. The sun reflected through the window as he speedily ran.

Time was still short, as the field was still empty or was it? At the foot of the tree, a young girl rested at its back. Her short dark hair covered her face. She wore a white gown.

"What's Mera doing here?" Moonlight said quietly. He moved closer. "She's sleeping… save enough."

Moonlight sat on the grass then, he looked up. Staring at the clouds that tried to block the sun; he inhaled and exhaled. "Ah… a quiet feeling…"
