Rain fell steadily.
Not loud… but constant.
The three of them sat in a quiet room.
Tension in the air.
"We don't have much time," Reyaan said.
"They'll come harder now."
Aarav nodded.
"Then we strike first."
Meher looked at both of them.
"How?"
Reyaan opened his laptop.
"I still have the backup."
He paused.
"But instead of leaking everything at once… we do it smart."
Aarav frowned.
"Meaning?"
"We expose them step by step," Reyaan explained.
"Small leaks. Controlled damage. So they don't know what we have."
Meher's eyes sharpened.
"And we stay ahead."
Reyaan nodded.
"Exactly."
Aarav added—
"And we make sure it reaches the right people."
"Media," Meher said.
Reyaan shook his head.
"Not random media."
Pause.
"Someone powerful… but clean."
Silence.
Then Meher spoke—
"I know someone."
Both looked at her.
"A senior journalist," she said.
"Honest. Fearless."
Aarav asked—
"Can we trust them?"
Meher didn't hesitate.
"Yes."
Reyaan leaned back slightly.
"Then that's our entry point."
Aarav looked at Meher.
"This is going to get dangerous."
Meher met his eyes.
"It already is."
A moment passed.
Then—
She placed her hand on the table.
Aarav placed his over hers.
Reyaan joined.
No more secrets.
No more running.
"Step one," Reyaan said quietly.
"We leak the first file… tonight."
Outside, thunder rolled again.
The storm wasn't chasing them anymore.
They were controlling it.
