The night turned heavy again.
Meher, Aarav, and Reyaan stepped out of the building together.
Everything looked normal…
But it wasn't.
Suddenly—
A bike sped past them.
In a split second, it snatched Meher's bag from her hand.
"HEY!" Aarav shouted.
It all happened too fast.
What was in the bag?
The USB.
Meher's face went pale.
"No… all the proof was in that…"
Aarav immediately ran after the bike.
Reyaan took a shortcut from the other side.
The road was wet.
The bike almost slipped—
Aarav ran faster.
Suddenly—
The bike took a sharp turn… and crashed.
Aarav grabbed the rider.
"Where's the bag?" he demanded angrily.
But—
The bag wasn't with him.
"Already handed over," the man smirked.
Aarav's heart sank.
Reyaan arrived.
"Damn… this was a diversion," he said.
Meher reached them, breathless.
Her eyes filled with shock.
"So… the proof is gone?" she asked softly.
Silence.
Then Reyaan said—
"Not completely."
They both looked at him.
"I made a backup," Reyaan said.
Aarav exhaled in relief.
A small spark returned in Meher's eyes.
But then Reyaan added—
"They know now… that we're against them."
Thunder echoed in the distance.
The game had changed.
This wasn't just an investigation anymore—
It was a war.
