Carla read the name on the tablet, 'Tramadol 100mg' as she pulled it open slowly.
She picked the other tablet that read 500mg and opened it also, careful not to dent or scratch it.
When she brought out the two tablets, they looked almost the same and she smiled triumphantly. To the untrained eye, these were the same drugs and she doubted Lucrezia would be around when Gavin would be having his second dose of the medicine.
Yvette wasn't a doctor and neither was Gavin.
This put her plan in motion.
She exchanged the two tablets, placing each other in the opposite packet and closing it back, sealing it the way she had met it.
She made sure to also keep them just how she had met them and muttered a 'sorry, Gavin' under her breath.
Somehow, the innocent underboss was going to be on the receiving end of her action and since she never actually had any confrontations or quarrels with him, she felt bad that she was dragging him into this.
