Carla looked slightly better than the last time she met with Lucrezia. Her eyes had returned to their normal colour and she appeared more collected but there was still a dark glint in her eyes.
"Yvette?" She called and the woman nodded.
It was surprising that Miss Carla could still remember her name since she'd only told the woman once before.
She held the tray in her hands much more tightly as she stared nervously at the woman who was still walking towards her.
Drinking in the woman's appearance, she paused at the tray in her hands before asking, "Where are you headed to?"
The question sounded off and unnecessary, considering from where the maid stood that she was obviously moving towards the Don's wing.
Still, Yvette answered her politely, schooling her expression.
"I'm headed to the Don's wing, Miss Carla." She curtsied slightly, still pressing her hands around the holder of the tray.
