Eva slowly regained consciousness, her vision blurry. She blinked several times until shapes slowly began to form.
The first thing she saw was a man towering over her, a deep scowl on his face.
Panic surged through her. She scrambled to her feet but immediately collapsed again when she realized her legs were tied together.
Her heart pounded as she searched the room for an escape. A table stood against the wall with a pocketknife resting on it. Beside it was a couch, and across the room were tinted glass doors.
"Are you done?" the man asked in a gruff voice.
Eva swallowed.
How was she going to get out of this mess?
She was caught red handed, there was no way they would believe she was lost. But she couldn't just sit still and not do anything.
"W…where am I?" Eva asked, her eyes avoiding the man's icy stare.
The man bent, and Eva leaned back in caution. "Do you think you are in the position to ask any questions?" He questioned back.
