Chapter 69 - Lines into Reality :

Time never remains constant once fangxi was nothing more then an ordinary student carefree.

Lost in fun and mischief bit now he was on longer the same person he had completely changed.

today, the entire responsibility of the ZXMG Group rested in his strong hands.

The boy who once used to get scared of small difficulties now had the courage to look his enemies in the eye and fight them.

Yang Do, an old and loyal friend of Fangxi's father, spoke with seriousness yet warmth:

"Listen, son..., never underestimate the person in...front of you. I know that... after your father's passing, a heavy burden... has..

"fallen on.. your shoulders… but always remember...one thing—before fighting your enemy...,make sure you are fully...prepared!"

He paused for a moment and then added like an experienced man,

"Sometimes, we step into the battlefield... fully prepared, yet the enemy.... still wins. Because more than the...enemy's..

"strength, even a small mistake of...ours can cost us.. everything."

Hearing this, Fangxi took a deep breath and adjusted himself on the sofa. He placed his hands on his knees; his tone was calm, but there was a cold edge in it.

"I completely agree... with you. After Dad's absence, the way you...guided me and showed... me the right path...

"I'm grateful... for that....so...Okay, I should get...going now."

A gentle smile appeared on Yang Do's lips as he stood up and said,

"Son, we don't thank... our own people. You are like... my own son, and it was my...duty to guide you on the... right path."

Fangxi stepped forward and said,

"I'll always... be grateful. Whenever you have.... time, please do... visit our home."

Hearing this, Yang Do smiled and said,

"I will definitely...come! And take care of yourself..., travel safely."

Fangxi nodded with a slight smile and took his leave along with Younshu.

That valuable pen drive was now safely tucked in Fangxi's pocket. As they were going down in the lift, Younshu couldn't hold himself back and asked in a low voice,

"Boss… was this our... meeting? And what exactly.... is in this pen drive...that Mr. Yang Do was explaining... so seriously?"

At Younshu's question, Fangxi's expression changed. In a calm yet serious tone, he replied,

"There are very... valuable things in this... pen drive, Younshu… truths that can change...our world."

Then, looking straight ahead, he ordered,

"Now we'll... head straight to the...company. Okay?"

Younshu immediately nodded and said,

"Okay, Boss!"

The moment they stepped out of the restaurant Younshu swiftly moved ahead. Without wasting a second.

he openedthe car door and with utmost respect helped Fangxi into the car.

Then he hurried to the driver's seat, started the car, and the two of them headed toward the

"ZXMG Company." Fangxi remained silent, but the pen drive in his pocket was stirring a storm of questions in his mind.

On the other side, in the cool and peaceful atmosphere of the library, Sheyaan was sitting at a large table.

A pile of books was stacked in front of her, and she was turning the pages of one of them with full focus and attention.

Right across from her, Alisha was writing some questions on a sheet of paper.

A little distance away, Zavian sat on a chair—silent, mysterious, and rigid. His eyes weren't on any book;

instead, he was watching Sheyaan deeply, as if keeping track of her every move.

Just then, Alisha looked up and said, "Sheyaan!"

Sheyaan immediately looked up from her book and replied, "Hmm?"

In a calm and serious tone, Alisha said,

"Look at me!"

Then she handed the worksheet to Sheyaan and added,

"Sheyaan, this is the... most important part of the... university entrance—'Logical Aptitude.' It's not just...about math, but also a test...of your quick thinking."

Sheyaan looked at the paper with tired eyes. The very first question was enough to confuse her mind:

"If a shopkeeper gives a 30% discount on his old stock but still makes a 10% profit, what was the original cost price?"

Sheyaan thought for a while and then picked up her pen and started rough work.

"Discount… Profit… Cost Price…"

She kept calculating, drawing lines across the pages, but every time her answer turned out wrong. Her confusion kept growing.

Frustrated, she ran her hand through her hair and, in a slightly sad tone, said softly,

"I can't do this… Professor… my mind just isn't working.!"

Just then, a cold and heavy voice came from behind her, cutting through the silence of the library.

"If crying over every...difficulty is your...solution, then the business world is not...for you."

Sheyaan froze. She turned around and saw Zavian standing there, both hands in his pockets,

his gaze fixed on her worksheet. His eyes held the same old sharpness and flatness.

His tone was so cold that it jolted Sheyaan out of her sadness.

No one had even realized when Zavian had quietly closed the distance between them.

The moment Alisha noticed him her words come to an abrupt helt she feel completely silent.

Zavian stepped a little closer and leaned over Sheyaan's worksheet, pointing at her wrong calculation.

"You're confusing...'margin' and 'markup' here,"

he said in... a flat tone. Then, in the same position, he looked into Sheyaan's eyes and added,

"Business doesn't run... on emotions… it runs on a.. cool mind and.. numbers!"

Being this close to Zavian made Sheyaan's heart race. His distinct scent and strong presence were confusing her, but his harsh words stirred her inner ego.

Sheyaan took a deep breath, pulled her notebook back, and said firmly,

"I'm not crying… I'm learning. And I'll prove...that I can do... this!"

Seeing her determination, a faint smirk appeared on Zavian's lips for a moment.

Without saying anything, he turned and walked back to his chair.

Sheyaan picked up her pen again, and this time she started solving with full focus and a new sense of determination.

Alisha was completely shocked that someone as strict and dangerous as Zavian had such deep knowledge about studies as well.

It had been four hours since the three of them arrived at the library.

The clock struck 12:00 noon, and the silence of the library was slowly turning into exhaustion. Just then, Alisha leaned toward Sheyaan and said softly,

"Sheyaan, I'll just... go to the washroom for a... bit."

Without lifting her head, still lost in her notebook, Sheyaan replied, "Okay!"

Alisha left. Now, at the large table, only Sheyaan and Zavian—who was sitting a little distance away—remained.

After a while, Sheyaan, feeling tired, lifted her gaze from the worksheet and looked around.

Her throat felt dry. She stood up from her seat and had just taken a few steps forward when Zavian's deep voice stopped her in her tracks.

"Where are you... going?"

Zavian asked coldly, without even looking at her.

Sheyaan replied softly,

"I need...water."

Hearing Sheyaan, Zavian's tone grew even stricter. Without moving from his place, he said flatly,

"Go back..and sit in your... seat."

Sheyaan immediately replied,

"But I need... to drink water!"

This time Zavian's gaze turned cold and intense locking onto her there was a sharpness.

In his eyes that sent a chill thought Sheyaan she froze instantly his voice grew firmer as he repeated.

"I sad..., go back and sit in.. your place!"

Seeing his attitude, Sheyaan got scared. She didn't think it was wise to argue further and quietly went back to her chair.

But inside, a wave of anger was rising. She thought to herself,

"'How arrogant... he is! He didn't even let me go...drink water…'

Sheyaan probably didn't realize that in the silent library, her heartbeat and emotions were somehow reaching Zavian.

Sensing her silent annoyance, Zavian looked at her carefully. Then he slowly stood up and walked toward her.

Seeing him so close, Sheyaan got a little scared and became completely still. Standing right in front of her, Zavian asked in a low but icy voice,

"Did you only....need water?"

Sheyaan looked at him innocently and nodded softly,

"Hmm…"

Hearing this, Zavian stood right there, took one hand out of his pocket, and placed a blank sheet of paper in front of Sheyaan, ordering,

"Draw on this... the thing you... want."

Sheyaan was a bit confused, but she picked up the pen and started drawing.

On the paper, she beautifully sketched a glass of water and a bowl filled with noodles.

After finishing the drawing, she handed the paper to Zavian.

Zavian looked at the drawing and then slowly raised his gaze toward Sheyaan.

"I thought you...only wanted water?" he asked in a deep voice.

Sheyaan made a slight pout and replied innocently,

"I'm... hungry too!"

Zavian didn't show any particular reaction. He simply placed the paper on the table, ran his hand over it, and snapped his fingers sharply.

At that very moment, a flash of red lightning-like light appeared. The very next second, a real glass of water and a bowl of noodles emerged from the paper!

Seeing this unbelievable scene, Sheyaan was completely stunned. Her eyes widened in shock—she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Just then, from a corner of the library, someone's gaze suddenly fell on Sheyaan.

A faint frown appeared on his face as he muttered to himself.

"I've definitely see her!"

somewhere before his thoughts paused for a moment

"But where!"

His mind began flipping through the pages of old memories.
