Densely packed Formulas formed a three-dimensional geometric shape, enveloping Jibril.
These Magic Formulas were Rias's analytical Formulas; their precision could even reach the microscopic level, but they were extremely difficult to control.
An average person would need team coordination and the assistance of props to use them.
Only the Devil King Ajuka could be compared to Rias in terms of her level of control over Magic Formulas.
And it was well known that Ajuka's magic trait leaned toward the control of Magic Formulas, which was why he possessed that level of control.
However... "It would be great if life could evolve to the point of seeing the microscopic realm with the naked eye."
Although she was skilled, the act of deploying a Magic Formula itself was a flaw, albeit a minor one.
For instance, the Flugel; their very essence was Magic Formulas, and traversing space was as simple as breathing for them.
Aside from a lack of growth potential and certain specific functions, they were simply the most perfect god-made lifeforms.
Above them were the Dragon-kin; manipulating time was as natural as breathing to them, an inevitable process of their life's movement.
They had no concept of 'deploying a Magic Formula'~
"Oh my, oh my, this feeling is really... a bit boring."
Jibril said disinterestedly, "I originally thought it could be more interesting."
"Like what?"
Rias asked casually while observing the operation of Jibril's core Magic Formula.
"Doing something more interesting~"
Jibril wore an intrigued expression, looking at Rias as if she were a fascinating toy.
Her wings broke through Rias's Magic Formula, and the wings at her waist brushed against Rias's cheek; instead, a strange blush appeared on Jibril's own face.
Rias grabbed Jibril's wing and stroked it gently.
The smooth feathers felt very comfortable to the touch, while her eyes observed the mysteries of the Magic Formula's operation; it was simply double the happiness~
"Unya~"
Jibril showed an expression of enjoyment.
Rather than a cat being petted, Rias felt like she was seeing the female cat she had raised in her past life arching its back and being petted by her.
"Does the Flugel have a mating season too?"
Rias couldn't help but ask.
"How could that be~"
Jibril said with narrowed eyes, "It's just that Little Rias's technique is too good; it makes me feel very comfortable."
"That sounds a bit erotic."
Rias couldn't help but complain, "The wings of the Flugel are entirely composed of the Spirit Gallery; they are the core of the Flugel and also their most sensitive part."
She didn't finish her sentence, but it was clear that Jibril and Unohana Retsu, who was standing nearby, fully understood the meaning behind Rias's words.
Unohana Retsu narrowed her eyes, her smile becoming even gentler, though a faint black aura seemed to be rising behind her.
Jibril, on the other hand, didn't care at all.
"Oh, we of the Flugel don't have the biological instinct for reproduction~"
Jibril said casually, "On the contrary, this is the first time I've had my wings stroked like this~"
"Your technique is truly too good; it feels very comfortable~"
Unohana Retsu's expression softened slightly; it seemed she had misunderstood.
After all, one was a 'God-Slaying Weapon' and the other was just a young girl; they couldn't be measured by the values of ordinary humans anyway.
Perhaps it was a relationship like a pet and its owner?
Then again, why had she thought in that direction?
Could it be that her own thoughts were too erotic?
Unohana Retsu was shocked.
So it turns out I'm the pervert?
While playing around, she continued to analyze the Magic Formula.
After about two hours, Rias obtained some good data.
"All right."
Releasing the analytical Formula, Rias let out a slightly weary sigh of relief.
"If you're tired, it's okay to rest for a while~"
Unohana Retsu said.
"It's fine."
Rias shook her head, "I'm a devil, after all; I won't collapse that easily."
"Pushing yourself too hard will have the opposite effect."
Unohana Retsu reminded her.
"Yeah, I'm okay."
Rias stretched, a smile playing on her lips as she said, "Back in my world, I've found a very good way to relieve pressure recently."
"Oh? Is there a war going on over there?"
Jibril suddenly flapped her wings and leaned her face in close.
"Don't you think you're very similar to Azrael right now?"
Rias complained.
Azrael fawned over Jibril, and Jibril fawned over Rias; it really left one speechless.
Even Rias herself didn't know why Jibril was so interested in her.
"Is that so? So that's how that idiot usually feels?"
Jibril murmured upon hearing this, "No, that's not right; there's a big difference. Whether it's the feeling of closeness or the lack of repulsion in our interaction, that's also different."
Rias understood Jibril's feelings.
Because Azrael truly loved Jibril, treating her as her most favorite and cherished younger sister.
Jibril, on the other hand, was more interested in Rias's head; although a shift in perspective had led to a strange sense of closeness between them, it was at most the closeness one feels for a friend.
There might be slight differences, but they shouldn't be significant~
"It's not a war."
Rias shrugged and said, "I don't look forward to things like war. If I ever start a war in the future, it definitely won't be for the sake of fighting, but for a clear purpose."
"That's different from the Flugel, isn't it~"
"Of course. Though right now, I don't have any such thoughts."
"Does Little Rias not like it?"
Jibril tilted her head and said, "War~"
"Happily slaughtering, crushing and ravaging the enemy—I think that's the most beautiful thing in the world."
Flapping her wings and looking as cute as a small animal, Jibril uttered these shocking words.
Her matter-of-fact tone spoke of the cruelty of her values.
Rias offered no judgment on this.
Everyone had their own way of living and their own values; Rias had no intention of forcibly changing another's will.
That kind of thinking was itself arrogant and very repulsive.
"I don't look forward to that sort of thing," Rias said. "I just want to be the master of my own fate. I don't seek to harm others, but I won't allow others to harm me either."
"Isn't it a very interesting thing to grow stronger through one's own efforts?"
"The process itself is full of fun, just as Ms. Unohana is obsessed with battle and slaughter, and the Flugel are themselves God-Slaying Weapons of war."
"Each of us has similar yet essentially different values and preferences."
"I see." Jibril's eyes sparkled; she finally understood why she was drawn to Rias.
An essence similar to the Flugel, and that will of a 'weakling' wanting to become stronger.
This essence was very apparent and deeply attracted Jibril.
Because this was also Jibril's own way of life.
Though she didn't follow a formal philosophy, she indeed acted in this manner.
Challenging the White Dragon was a case in point.
Even as a weakling, she would throw punches at those who were stronger.
As she grew stronger, she would experience that joy.
Undoubtedly, that was the ultimate enjoyment.
"Alright, next, I'll help you set up the Fusion Equation."
Rias said with a smile.
