Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 - Typical problems for reincarnated people

When Shun woke up, he was lying in a desert.

The moment he regained consciousness, he immediately checked himself for injuries or abnormalities—but nothing seemed wrong. His body was completely intact.

Healthy.

He slowly sat up and looked around.

The sand beneath him looked as if it had been pushed downward, as though something had crashed into this place from above.

Beside him lay a box, a radar, and a small ampoule with a syringe.

"…Wait."

"Aren't these the things I won from the wheels?"

"That box… that has to be the Mother Box."

"And this must be the Sage Body Serum."

He picked up the radar and continued checking his surroundings.

Not far away, he found a small pile of gold—most likely the money he had taken from Gyūmaō for his journey. It wasn't much, only about the value of forty kilograms of gold.

He stored it inside his shadow.

However, he kept the Mother Box in his hand.

"It looks like the seven Dragon Balls reacted with the Mother Box…"

"And I was thrown through space—and time."

"But the real question is… where am I?"

"And the Dragon Balls… they're gone."

He checked the radar.

Nothing.

"…It seems there are no Dragon Balls on this planet—or in this universe."

"Once I'm prepared… and strong enough…"

"I'll try to use the Mother Box to find a way back."

He put everything away and took a deep breath, steadying himself.

Shun looked then down at the ampoule in his hand and thought to himself:

So this is it…

This should give me the Perfect Sage Body.

It will help me in the long run.

I shouldn't hesitate.

I should inject it immediately.

He took the syringe and pierced the ampoule, drawing the liquid inside.Once it was full, he pressed the needle against his chest—

—and injected it.

But at that very moment—

He felt something.

A sensation unlike anything he had ever experienced before surged through his body.

His heartbeat skipped.

His vision blurred.

And deep within him, something responded.

When suddenly—

A killing intent exploded behind him.

A chill ran down his spine.

He turned around.

Behind him stood a monster wearing a mask.

Its body was pure white, covered in strange scales. Its full form was hard to make out, but one thing was clear—

It was three times larger than Shun.

The mask had four white horns, two on each side. The mouth wasn't visible—only hollow holes.

A distorted voice echoed.

"I see… a soul has arrived in Hueco Mundo."

"And I found it immediately."

Shun broke into a cold sweat.

He didn't hesitate.

He pulled the Mother Box from his shadow and flooded it with Cursed Energy, trying to activate it and escape—

—but the moment the beast noticed his attempt, it attacked.

Its hands wrapped around Shun's throat and slammed him into the ground.

He still clutched the Mother Box.

Then—

Something happened.

Something the monster didn't expect.

The creature was suddenly pulled into Shun.

It tried to tear itself free using its spiritual power—

But at that exact moment, the Mother Box activated.

Shun was dragged into his shadow—

Along with the creature that had been absorbed into him.

He fell.

This time, into a forest.

But Shun was no longer completely himself.

A partial white mask had formed on his face.

That being… had infected him.

He tried to suppress it—

—but he was far too weak.

Darkness took him.

POV Shift

Tobirama Senju had already resolved himself.

The battle against Ginkaku and Kinkaku, both cloaked in Bijuu power, was heavily stacked against him.

Tobirama had a plan—

One where he would die…

And take them with him.

Then—

Something fell from the sky.

Tobirama instantly used Hiraishin no Jutsu, teleporting away just as the object crashed into the battlefield.

What he saw next made his blood run cold.

A child.

White liquid covered part of his face.

It looked as if a Bijuu-like entity was trying to take control of him—

But Tobirama had never seen a creature like this before.

In that instant, Kinkaku attacked the child.

Tobirama moved to intervene—

—but what he witnessed shattered his understanding of the world.

The child looked at Kinkaku.

At the place where horns should have been, a blue sphere of energy condensed—

Similar to the attack used by Starrk.

When it was released—

A devastating wave tore through the forest.

Its power rivaled the Bijuu Dama of the Nine-Tails.

Kinkaku—

—and Ginkaku—

Were erased, there are still some body parts but nothing more.

Just like that.

The enemies Tobirama had planned to die fighting—

Were killed effortlessly.

Tobirama's mind raced.

I have to restrain this beast.

He thought quickly.

There was only one option.

Sealing.

If he could seal the entity inside the child, he could prevent it from going on a rampage.

Thanks to his mastery of Ninjutsu and Fūinjutsu, Tobirama knew it was possible—

He just had to get close enough.

He formed hand seals.

Two Shadow Clones appeared.

He placed a sealing array on the ground.

Then—

He teleported next to the child.

The creature reacted instantly—

—but it was surrounded from three directions.

One clone marked the child.

Tobirama teleported again—

And took the child with him.

The clones dispersed.

Tobirama slammed the child onto the sealing array.

The creature tried to break free using spiritual pressure—

It succeeded—

But that moment was all Tobirama needed.

Hand seals flashed.

A seal was pressed directly onto the child's chest.

Sweat ran down Tobirama's temple as he poured the remainder of his chakra into his fingers.

"Four Symbols Seal!"

The entity was forced back—

Sealed inside Shun.

Tobirama was fortunate.

His sister-in-law came from the Uzumaki Clan, and she had taught him everything he needed to know about sealing Bijuu-level entities.

Shun's body stabilized.

The mask faded.

He returned to his original form.

Without Tobirama's intervention, Shun would have become a human Hollow, doomed to devour souls endlessly.

Tobirama looked at the devastation around him and exhaled slowly.

"…It seems I'll live longer than I expected."
