Chapter 67 - Chapter 67: Morgan's Fairy Knight Creation Plan

Chapter 67: Morgan's Fairy Knight Creation Plan

Noah rested for a while, then prepared to adjust his attire before heading toward Selkirk Territory.

He had already formulated a general plan for dealing with the Picts' main forces. Now possessing Conqueror's Haki, he intended to directly employ it against the Pictish army and subsequently subjugate Selkirk Territory.

Though both the Southern Six Territories and Northern Six Territories belonged to Britain, they differed significantly in many aspects. When dealing with the southern territories, negotiation was never an option. By controlling their crucial salt trade, all issues could be brought to the negotiating table. Thus, after the Southern Six Kings arrived at Camelot, everything Noah did was to flaunt his bargaining chips and exert pressure on them. Every move served the final outcome of negotiations—this was the approach for handling the south.

The north, however, was entirely different. Reaching agreements with the Northern Six Territories through negotiation alone was nearly impossible. Unlike the south, these northern lords had fought alongside King Uther, making them highly militaristic and reverent of strength. Dealing with them required force—but not solely relying on it. Additionally, Noah needed to purge the northern nobility. Integrating all these factors formed the complete plan he had now finalized for the northern campaign.

The urgency stemmed from one key factor: had Vortigern's threat persisted, Noah wouldn't be rushing these matters. But with that menace eliminated, things became vastly simpler.

As Noah pondered these issues, Morgan dismissed the attendants and personally helped him adjust the king's armor and blue cloak.

"You're going to handle the northern affairs and those Picts, aren't you? Honestly, when you dispatched your White Knight earlier, I suspected you might be rushing into something—but I never thought you'd truly act this hastily."

After meticulously arranging Noah's armor, cloak, and hair, Morgan stood before him, crossing her arms and shaking her head resignedly.

"I know Vortigern's pressure weighed heavily on you, but acting too rashly often leads to complications."

Her tone carried an uncomfortable edge, yet Noah understood this was simply Morgan's way. She felt embarrassed when speaking kindly, causing even well-intentioned advice to sound harsh. He had grown accustomed to this manner of hers.

"I understand," Noah nodded, first acknowledging her concern before shaking his head. "But trust me—while I may be somewhat impatient, everything remains within my control. What truly troubles me isn't Vortigern or those Saxon barbarians; their matters are no longer concerning. If unifying Britain, Pictavia, and Hibernia could neatly conclude everything, it would all unfold naturally."

"Unfortunately, things don't appear that simple."

Noah wouldn't tell Morgan about Titan Altera just yet, but he still shared some vague information with her.

"Recently, Artoria and I went on an incognito journey and rescued Guinevere. It was from the group that kidnapped Guinevere that I learned Rome would still cause some problems."

"So many things must be accelerated now."

"This world is changing in completely unknown directions. No one knows whether this change is for better or worse, but judging by the current situation—it's beneficial for us, foolish as it may seem."

Morgan was slightly stunned by Noah's words.

Noah had no intention of continuing further. After hanging Caliburn at his waist, he simply walked toward the door.

Only when he reached the doorway did he pause again, turning back to give Morgan instructions.

"By the way, while I'm away, I'll leave Camelot in your hands for now—regarding the insufficient manpower and knights at Camelot Castle you mentioned earlier... Well, you can handle the staffing at Camelot Castle. As for the knight issue, let's wait until the situation stabilizes completely before addressing it."

With these words, Noah departed.

Morgan watched his retreating figure and shook her head slightly.

"Truly, I don't know whether to call you foolish or clever... Entrusting the staffing of positions so close to you entirely to a Witch like me is utterly stupid... Yet this very point makes me think you're quite cunning."

"Hmph."

Morgan muttered a few words, then let out a light, almost coquettish hum.

"The staffing at Camelot Castle is manageable enough, but knights... The reason you're not recruiting now is probably because there simply aren't that many knights in Britain who meet your standards."

This thought reminded Morgan of the plan she had been preparing.

The plan to create excellent assassins to kill her sister after she became king.

Originally, she had abandoned this plan after Noah became king.

But now, it seemed she could pick it up again...

However, her current self actually found the original plan somewhat too insane.

So some details of the plan needed to be revised.

"Hmm... If I modify certain details—not using myself as the mother vessel but instead... choosing fairies as carriers—then more than three would be problematic, but three might be manageable."

"Using fairies as carriers, then finding ways to steal some knights' Saint Graphs..."

If Artoria had become King Arthur, Morgan might have become utterly frenzied in her actions due to inner conflict.

But with Noah as king, her actions were no longer so crazy, and her behavior patterns naturally became completely different from before.

In fact, she now strongly rejected her original plan.

Thus, she conceived a new plan.

"Although stealing Saint Graphs is extremely difficult, it's not entirely impossible to attempt..."

After Noah went to deal with the northern Picts, he never expected that merely speaking a few riddles to Morgan and leaving some arrangements behind would lead her to conceive the idea of creating three Fairy Knights.

Morgan's execution was so efficient that once the plan was finalized, she had not only selected the three fairies to serve as vessels but had even decided on their names.

In her scheme, the three Fairy Knights were to be named — Baobhan Sith, Barghest‎‎, and Melusine!
