"Can I make a wish for my new girlfriend? Like… a necklace or something?" Yamcha asked.
The others immediately rejected the idea, and Krillin stepped forward to make the wish.
"Shenron, can you restore Android 18 and 17's humanity?"
"No. I cannot."
"Then can you at least remove the explosives inside their bodies?"
"Yes. Your wish is granted. Farewell."
The dragon dematerialized, and the Dragon Balls scattered across the world.
"Wait… is he really in love?" Piccolo asked.
Gohan and the others burst out laughing.
"I don't get it."
"Piccolo, I don't think you're capable of understanding." Yamcha replied while laughing.
"But Krillin, why did you remove the explosives from Android 17 too?" Trunks asked.
"Well, as you all saw, I've got a crush on Android 18." Krillin explained. "But she and Android 17 belong together."
Android 18, who had overheard the conversation, suddenly spoke.
"Idiot! Android 17 is my twin brother! But don't expect anything beetween us and don't think I'm gonna thank you just because you removed the bomb!"
She turned toward the open sky.
"See you around."
Then she flew away.
"You heard that? She said 'see you around.' That means you've got a chance, Krillin." Yamcha said, putting an arm around him.
"Really?"
"Of course! If anyone knows about love, it's me! Hahaha!" declared the self-proclaimed heartbreaker. "Be happy."
"I'm only half happy." Krillin admitted, lowering his head. "Without Goku… it just feels empty."
"Yeah…" some of the others murmured.
"And we've got a dragon roaming around." Piccolo added.
"That's true, but for now he doesn't seem to be against us." Gohan said.
"But he's not with us either…" Piccolo whispered.
"I'm leaving. Chiaotzu must be starting to worry." Tien said after a brief silence. "Take care."
"Say hi to Chiaotzu for me." Gohan told him.
"I will. Gohan, I'll never forget Son Goku. Take good care of your mother. Trunks, with the power you have now, you'll easily defeat the androids in your future. Good luck."
Tien finally departed as everyone said goodbye. "Farewell!"
"So… should we head home too?"

Meanwhile, Kaido had arrived in West City.
At first glance he looked out of place, mainly because of his size, but aside from that, not as much as one might think. Many of Earth's inhabitants weren't human. There were beings known as Beastmen, who made up 17% of the population, and Monstermen about 7%, so in total almost 25% of the population.
'Shenron refused for now… Alright, who are the others again? There's Porunga on Namek, the one from the Demon Realm, the Cerealian one, even the one from the Super Dragon Balls… maybe I'm forgetting some.'
He thought while walking through the streets, as passersby whispered about him.
"Mom, look how huge he is!" a child said.
"Yes, sweetheart… I noticed." she replied, far less comfortable than her son.
'But there's no rush. Let's discover this place a little.'
He thought, feeling slightly hungry.
-----------
"Add some more of that… and that too." the angel instructed while discovering the pleasures of Earth's cuisine.
'Oh my, this planet is exquisite… all these delicacie.' he thought, taking more desserts.
"Oooh, Lord Beerus, you have no idea what you're missing." he said delightfully.
'By the way, what is the benefactor who brought me here doing right now?'
He wondered, then tapped his staff and saw that Kaido had finished fighting. He teleported him to his location.
Kaido's sudden appearance inside the restaurant made the diners flee in panic.
"Oops. So, were you able to do what you wanted?" Whis asked before taking another bite.
"Yes, I was. And I see that you were as well." Kaido replied, choosing to ignore the fact that he had been teleported without his consent, instead commenting on the dishes surrounding Whis.
"Would you like some? Go ahead, help yourself."
Kaido didn't refuse the offer and began devouring the food around them.
"Tell me, was the food on Earth in Universe 6 just as good?" Whis asked.
"No, if I'm being honest… but it was still quite good."
After finishing their meal, the two gluttons stepped outside the restaurant.
"So, what will you do now? Stay here?" Whis asked.
"Yes. I'll remain here for the time being." Kaido replied.
"I see. It was a pleasure, Kaido. Until next time, I believe we will meet again."
Whis disappeared instantly.
'If I stay here… I'll need money. And I think I know where to get some.'

Mr. Satan had just returned home after a long day of celebrations held in honor of his "victory" over Cell.
"Daddy's home!" he shouted.
"Dad!" a young girl cried as she ran down the stairs, rushing into his arms the moment she saw him.
"They said on TV that you defeated the monster!"
"Of course, Videl! Because your daddy is the strongest man in the world! Hahahaha!" Mr. Satan proudly replied.
"You're the best!" she said, hugging him tightly.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
Mr. Satan froze.
He wasn't expecting anyone, and before someone could knock on his door, they had to ring the gate much farther away and pass his bodyguards.
"Sweetheart, go up to your room, okay?" he told his daughter as he set her down.
"Okay, Daddy." She nodded and immediately did as she was told.
Gathering his courage, Mr. Satan opened the door.
The expression of pure horror on his face said everything.
Standing before him was the monster who had defeated Cell.
If his daughter wasn't home, he would have already fainted.
"Wh-what brings me the honor of your presence? If it's because I took all the credit, I'm ready to reveal everything, please spare us!!!"
He dropped to his knees, clasping his hands together as he begged Kaido with tears in his eyes.
"Orororororo… We can settle this another way. Stand up, human."
Mr. Satan slowly rose, unsure of what the giant before him was about to propose.
"How… can we settle this?"
"You're rich, aren't you?" Kaido asked, already knowing the answer.
"Yes… yes, I am." Mr. Satan replied.
"I want you to build an estate for me. And I want you to send me money."
"That's all? If that's all, I'll get started right away!" his energy suddenly returned as he rushed toward the phone.
"No time to waste! Find me a huge site to build a residence immediately! I want very high ceilings, really high! Doors at least ten meters tall!" he began calling his contacts and quickly arranged to create a bank account.
"Your name, sir?" he asked, turning to Kaido.
"Kaido."
"Create the account under the name Kaido and deposit the amount I told you!" he shouted returning to his call.
After a few more phone calls…
"Mr. Kaido, I guarantee that in one week everything will be ready." Mr. Satan finally said.
"Hm. You're surprisingly efficient. I'll return in a week, then." Kaido remarked.
"I do the best I can, haha." Mr. Satan said, scratching the back of his head awkwardly at the compliment.
Kaido then took off and flew to the top of a mountain. From there, the entire city could be seen below. He decided to train.
He was aware that he had defeated Cell easily, but beings like Whis existed, beings whose presence he couldn't even detect.
He decided to practice his magic, particularly fire and lightning. He tried to see how many times he could cast these spells and at what intensity.
He also attempted to reproduce the effects of Conqueror's Haki using his lightning magic, managing to knock out the animals around him. In itself it wasn't very impressive, since they were only animals, but it was encouraging, as it proved that reproducing such techniques was possible.
He then trained his Ki control and practiced meditation.
He spent the entire week training seriously.
-----------
The appointed day finally arrived.
Kaido opened his eyes after finishing his meditation. The beasts living at the mountain's summit were gathered around him.
He stood up and stretched.
"Time to return to civilization." he muttered after cracking his neck.
He headed to Mr. Satan's residence, where the man was already waiting outside.
"Mr. Kaido, you're here. Everything is ready, follow me… You can, um… fly, the car isn't big enough… you understand…"
Mr. Satan got into a car and told his driver to start moving. Kaido followed them through the sky.
Eventually, the car stopped in front of a massive mansion. It stood in a quiet, remote area of West City.
Mr. Satan stepped out of the vehicle, and Kaido landed beside him.
"This is your home." Mr. Satan said, spreading his arms toward the estate.
He began giving him a tour, the swimming pool, the gym, and more.
'Honestly, he did far more than I imagined… but I'm not going to complain.' Kaido thought after finishing the tour.
"Now, the employees. They're over here, follow me." Mr. Satan continued smoothly, fully comfortable in his role. "Here they are."
Several people were gathered in front of them. They had come after hearing that Mr. Satan was recruiting staff for a new residence.
When they saw Kaido, most of them looked surprised and clearly uncomfortable with the idea of working for him.
Kaido noticed that immediately.
"Which of you wants to work for me?" he asked, not wanting to waste time.
The only ones who stepped forward were Beastmen.
They were afraid too, but instinctively they seemed to view Kaido as a kind of leader.
"I'll take everyone who stepped forward." Kaido said.
Then he turned and walked into the massive villa.
"You heard him, you're hired!" Mr. Satan confirmed to them.
Some of the people who had stepped forward jumped with joy or simply smiled, while those who hadn't stepped forward were escorted out of the residence.
Kaido sat on a throne inside the mansion.
'That's taken care of already. Continuing my training in a place like this is ideal. I have all the land and open space I need.'
Kaido was deep in thought when someone below interrupted him, one of the Beastmen he had hired earlier.
"Mr. Kaido, Mr. Satan has left and asked me to give you these zeni. Also, do you need anything?"
"I see. Bring me something to drink. Other than that, I'm fine." Kaido replied.
-----------
Mr. Satan, back home after fulfilling his obligations, felt relieved that everything had gone smoothly.
"My princess, I'm back!" he shouted.
'Dad is a liar.' Videl thought as she went to greet him.
A week earlier, when Kaido had appeared, she had quietly come back downstairs to see what her father was doing, and had discovered the truth. Her father might not actually be the strongest man in the world.
That alone didn't hurt her as much as the fact that he had been lying to her for so long.
"Good evening, Dad."
"How was your day at school?" he asked.
"Everything went well at school. How about you at work?" she asked in return.
"Just like you, sweetheart. A good day."
"I was wondering, Dad… can I start learning martial arts?" Videl asked.
"Already? Are you sure that's what you want?"
"Yes, I'm sure, Dad. I'll become the strongest." she declared, raising her fist.
"I see. You know I can't refuse you anything. If that's what you want, then you'll have it."
-----------
Every person responsible for maintaining or guarding the estate greeted Kaido whenever they crossed paths with him.
It had now been several days since Kaido began living in his new residence. Routines were starting to settle in for every resident.
At the moment, Kaido was trying to incorporate Hakai into his striking techniques. He wasn't the type to use weapons in combat. Of course, by Hakai he meant the technique from One Piece, not the one from this world.
The problem with recreating the technique was that magic is a force drawn from outside the body, whereas ki originates from within it. This made it far more difficult to channel magic through his own body, unlike when he had simply combined magic and ki while destroying Cell.
Even so, a few black lightning bolts began to emerge from Kaido's hands.
'I'm starting to understand.'
