Katsumi Orochi was the first to recover from the shock, clapping his hands forcefully: "Wonderful, absolutely wonderful!"
The loud applause reached their ears, and the Shinshinkai members finally broke free from their astonishment, erupting in thunderous applause and cheers.
The entire dojo instantly became a cauldron of excitement.
Allen put away his stance and returned a cupped-fist salute: "Senior Retsu's Mantis Boxing has greatly benefited me."
Katsumi Orochi strode forward, patted Allen's shoulder, his eyes full of admiration: "Your talent is simply unbelievable."
Kaiou Retsu nodded, the appreciation in his eyes growing more intense, especially when he learned that Allen was Chinese; the corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up.
"Allen, if there's an opportunity, I'd like to invite you to participate in China's Great Raitai Tournament." Kaiou Retsu extended his right hand to Allen, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
"This Great Raitai Tournament will feature various top-tier martial artists."
He believed that this young man in front of him would undoubtedly be a king of the fighting world on par with Baki, or perhaps even a few points stronger than Baki.
Allen's heart stirred; this was exactly what he wanted. The various martial arts gathered at the Great Raitai Tournament made him incredibly eager, especially Kaioh Kaku's Energy Dissipation.
With this, even if he encountered unavoidable attacks later, he would be able to use Energy Dissipation to nullify the damage, using softness to overcome hardness.
"The honor is all mine." Allen's mouth curved into a smile as he tightly grasped Kaiou Retsu's right hand.
After the sparring session with Kaiou Retsu ended, Allen glanced at the system panel; the evolution progress of Fighting Genius had already reached 67%.
"Allen, would you like to have some hometown delicacies?" Kaiou Retsu enthusiastically invited him.
"I know a very authentic Chinese restaurant nearby."
Allen nodded; he was indeed a bit nostalgic for hometown food.
The two walked out of the Shinshinkai dojo, while Katsumi Orochi remained in the dojo because he still had to instruct his students.
Just as they left, a giant over two meters tall slowly emerged from a dark corner.
It was Dorian, one of the five escaped death row inmates, a strong man around fifty years old with an aged face and graying long hair.
He stared intently at Allen's back; having survived countless life-and-death struggles, his perception of danger was exceptionally keen.
And from that slender young man, Dorian felt the aura of death.
He narrowed his eyes, his calloused right hand unconsciously rubbing the scar on his chin.
"That kid, he's not simple..." Dorian muttered in a low voice, a dangerous glint in his eyes.
He came to the Shinshinkai to challenge Doppo Orochi because he wanted to taste defeat.
He hadn't expected to accidentally discover such a hidden monster.
"But now is not the time." Dorian smiled sinisterly, then turned and disappeared into the shadows.
He decided to meet Doppo Orochi first, and after dealing with the so-called "Martial God," he would come back to meet this mysterious young man.
In the distance, Allen seemed to sense something, looking back behind him, but found nothing.
He frowned slightly; his keen Combat Intuition made Allen certain that someone had indeed been secretly watching him just now.
He suddenly recalled the plot of the Baki Death Row Convicts arc; at this point, the death row inmate Dorian should be coming to cause trouble for Doppo Orochi.
But since Doppo Orochi wasn't there, Dorian simply shifted his target to Katsumi.
"What's wrong?" Kaiou Retsu noticed Allen's abnormality and followed his gaze.
"Nothing, I left something in the Shinshinkai dojo."
"I'll go back and get it; I'll be right back." Allen said, then turned and ran towards the Shinshinkai hall.
Seeing Allen's urgency, Kaiou Retsu didn't say much, instead sitting cross-legged with his hands on his knees, calmly waiting in place... Meanwhile, inside the Shinshinkai dojo.
"Excuse me, may I see Doppo Orochi?" A deep voice echoed through the dojo.
Everyone looked in the direction of the voice, only to see a giant over two meters tall standing at the dojo entrance; it was Dorian, the death row inmate who had come to find Doppo Orochi.
Dorian's expression was calm, his deep eyes fixed on the Shinshinkai members.
His tall stature almost filled the entire doorframe, casting a shadow over the heads of the students standing frozen at the entrance.
Just as the atmosphere solidified, Dorian spoke again: "I want to see Doppo Orochi."
"No matter what your reason for wanting to see him, take off your shoes first, white man." Katsumi Orochi stepped forward to confront Dorian.
Even though there was a huge difference in their physiques, Katsumi Orochi's face remained fearless.
"My apologies."
Dorian was silent for a moment, then slowly took off his boots and suddenly threw them at Katsumi's face.
The moment Katsumi Orochi caught the boots, Dorian delivered a sharp high kick that heavily struck his chin.
Katsumi Orochi was caught off guard by the kick and flew backward, then stabilized himself with a backflip, before he could even figure out what was happening.
"Sorry, sorry, are you alright?"
Dorian had already walked in front of Katsumi Orochi, kneeling on one knee and patting his shoulder.
Dorian's series of consecutive moves completely stunned Katsumi Orochi.
He still hadn't figured out why this strong man in front of him suddenly apologized.
And seeing Katsumi daze off again, Dorian's two fingers, like venomous snakes, swiftly plunged into his eye sockets.
"Ah!" Katsumi Orochi cried out in pain, covering his eyes with both hands. Dorian seized the opportunity to pull out the black belt from Katsumi's waist and wrapped it around his neck.
Katsumi Orochi immediately felt difficulty breathing, his vision turning black. He struggled desperately, but Dorian's strength was astonishing, and the black belt tightened more and more.
"Teacher Katsumi!" The surrounding Shinshinkai members were terrified, wanting to rush forward to help, but were intimidated by Dorian's fierce glare.
After toying with him, Dorian grinned and grabbed Katsumi Orochi's legs. His arms bulged with veins, his muscles swelled, and he slammed Katsumi into the dojo wall.
"Boom!"
Katsumi Orochi's body was sent flying like a rag doll, crashing heavily into the dojo's wooden wall. Wood splinters flew everywhere, and a large dent appeared in the wall.
Katsumi was deeply embedded in it, his head lolling to the side, unconscious.
"Teacher Katsumi!" The Shinshinkai members cried out, rushing forward.
Dorian looked at the unconscious Katsumi Orochi, a smirk on his face.
"If this kid's father is Doppo Orochi, then it's something to look forward to."
After saying that, he walked towards the dojo entrance without looking back.
"Bang!" With a loud sound, a figure appeared at the dojo entrance.
Dorian's steps halted, his forehead covered in fine beads of sweat.
"Do you think you can walk out of this dojo unharmed?"
"Get back to the center of the dojo."
