Chapter 102 - Chapter 102: Fur Coat

"'God' gave himself to Jovian…"

After hearing Dr. Genus say that, Jack's eyes went wide, his breathing turning a little faster.

"Alright. Enough nonsense—let's keep operating."

"And stop letting your mind wander, or you'll never become someone as outstanding as me."

Dr. Genus stared at Jack and scolded him coldly.

"Yes, Dr. Genus."

After the reprimand, Jack immediately reined in the emotions he shouldn't have had and refocused, fully locked in.

Out in space…

While Earth was in the middle of one upheaval after another, Jovian had already finished Battle Beast for good.

"If you weren't what you are, you and I could've talked for a long time. Maybe we could've even been friends."

"But it's a shame—your biology makes it so we'll never be able to sit at the same table and negotiate."

"Still, don't worry. I'll take you with me…"

"…and together we'll conquer the entire universe."

Jovian gripped Battle Beast's dead body by the back of the neck and flew back toward Earth.

After killing Battle Beast, Jovian didn't go interrupt Robot Jack and Dr. Genus while they treated Mark. Instead, he went to a little shop that even his father—Omni-Man, Nolan Grayson—trusted completely: the biggest supplier of superhero suits there was.

Art Rosenbaum's Tailor Shoppe.

"Hey, Art!"

Using his memory of the place, Jovian pushed open the hidden door and stepped into the concealed hero-gear shop.

"Oh—Jovian?"

"What, you here for a brand-new suit?"

"Wait…"

"You already changed suits?"

Art, who'd been wearing a high-powered microscope while studying fabric work, dropped what he was doing and hurried over, excited. The moment he saw Jovian's brand-new suit, his expression jolted with shock.

"This workmanship… these materials…"

"This is absolutely the work of a master. Even compared to me, it doesn't give up an inch!"

"Where did you get this made, Jovian? Can you introduce me? I have to meet whoever did this."

A true professional could spot the craft instantly. The second Art saw Jovian's suit, he was genuinely stunned—like he'd found a kindred spirit, and for a moment he looked almost moved by the idea that he wasn't alone.

"Uh… haha…"

"If I get the chance, I'll definitely introduce you."

Jovian smiled. It was hard to tell someone this fired-up that the suit had been slapped together in a minute by Dr. Genus with a machine.

"Fair enough."

Art ran his hand along the suit's material, clearly mesmerized for a moment.

But years of experience showed—he quickly reset his mood.

"So, Jovian… what brings you to me today?"

"Art, can you turn this into a fur coat?"

As he spoke, Jovian handed over the massive white lion-like corpse—Battle Beast.

"A white lion?"

"Hunting wild animals whenever you feel like it—especially something rare like a white lion—isn't a good look."

Art's eyes sharpened as he stared at the body, the look practically screaming: We don't just kill wildlife.

"More accurately," Jovian said, "it's an alien lion."

"He came to invade Earth. I killed him. And I want the coat as a warning to his species."

Jovian calmly explained who Battle Beast really was.

"Oh, you should've said that first."

"Alien lion? Then there's no issue at all."

Art smiled faintly. Earth animals were off-limits. Aliens? Different story.

"Art, about how long until I can pick up the coat?"

"Five hours."

"Starting now, I'm dropping every job on my table."

"I'm making your coat first."

Since the client was Jovian, Art decided to toss aside everything else.

"Perfect."

"Hold on—I've got a gift for you."

Jovian nodded, then vanished in a blur.

One second later…

Jovian walked back into the shop carrying two massive machines, each weighing well over three tons.

"These are…"

Art stared at them, his eyes twitching.

"One is a polymer cutter—so you can slice through this alien lion's nearly indestructible hide."

"The other is a clothing fabrication machine. It'll let you make suits way more efficiently."

Jovian had always been the type to repay what he owed. Art had made him his first hero suit—so Jovian was going to return the favor. Since Art loved suit-making so much, the best gift was specialized equipment built for that exact purpose.

"My God… whoever invented this is a genius!"

Art started fiddling with the clothing fabrication machine, praising it loudly.

"He really is a genius," Jovian said without hesitation. Dr. Genus might be unhinged, but his brilliance was undeniable.

"With this, I only need an hour—no, I only need half an hour—to make a coat that matches your taste perfectly. You're going to love it."

Art got to work immediately, hands flying as he adjusted settings and began designing.

"I'm counting on you."

Jovian watched him with a small smile.

That was exactly why he'd come to Art for the coat. Robot Jack and Dr. Genus could manufacture things, but they didn't understand design. To them, looking cool was meaningless—only function mattered.

But to Jovian, clothes had to be practical and look incredible.

Looking cool was forever.

Half an hour later…

Wearing a white fur coat that made him look like a king—radiating a heavy, domineering presence—Jovian left Art's shop completely satisfied.

The moment that massive white coat hit his shoulders, capes became obsolete.

"Things here are basically handled."

"Once I finish what I need to finish… it's time to go back and clean up everything I left unfinished in the One-Punch world."

Jovian rolled his shoulders. What came next was simple:

He was going to wipe out the Monster Association.

He'd given up on being some "Monster Association leader." He'd never even found their location, and he wasn't going to keep searching.

He'd just hit them head-on and be done with it.

"First, I'll regroup with Dr. Genus and Jack."

"Then we'll set the next battle plan."

"And Metal Knight… and Genos's upgrader, Dr. Kuseno—if we can bring them in, we bring them in."

After thinking it through, Jovian adjusted his direction and flew home.
