(Sapphire's POV)
Why was I sulking when I could take matters into my own hands?
Was I becoming my mother?
A timid woman who could never take what she wanted because she was too afraid to speak up.
No.
Perhaps Damian needed space for a day or two to get his priorities right.
Standing up from my bed, I quickly packed a bag.
I would be spending two days at my parents house. I needed to actually understand what my father was on about.
"Fernandez." I opened the door and called out.
"Yes, ma'am?" He answered, jogging to me.
"Take the bag to the car for me, please." I said and pointed to the weekend bag I had packed.
What could be described as a shocked look passed through his eyes. "Ma'am…it is not my place to speak out of turn, but are you moving out?" He asked worriedly.
I couldn't help but laugh.
"No, Fernandez. But I feel choked up here, so I'm going to go stay a night or two with my mother." I replied.
