Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Timetable

The Young Wizard with fluffy blonde hair thought for a moment.

"I don't know."

"You don't know what you're thinking?!"

Michael felt that because of his two friends—Anthony and Terry—he would surely live a few years less.

As for the elegant and swift dining etiquette he mentioned... a poor orphanage would always come up with many ways to send orphans away,

even if it was useless except for tormenting the children's bodies and minds.

Perhaps the only ones who benefited were the Caregivers,

who had more reasons to be harsh and scold.

Sean was forced to learn some things in this torment, such as etiquette,

including dining, walking posture, and bedtime routines.

Fortunately, I escaped from there,

Sean thought,

otherwise, Caregiver Anna, who was about to lose her job, would certainly not make his life easy.

In the Hogwarts Great Hall,

Dumbledore was chatting and laughing with everyone at the Professor's table,

Sean was eating heartily;

Michael was trying to pick up other Witches,

Sean was eating heartily;

Terry was taking notes on Dumbledore's words,

Sean was eating heartily.

Until the noise in the Great Hall gradually subsided, and the food on the tables disappeared.

"Now, everyone has eaten and drunk their fill."

Sean heard Dumbledore's booming voice.

Eaten and drunk their fill?

Actually, not quite.

Sean thought silently.

Dumbledore was still speaking, the content being three warnings: including prohibition from entering the room at the far right of the fourth-floor corridor, prohibition from entering the Forbidden Forest, and prohibition of night wandering.

"Now, before everyone goes to bed, let us sing the school song together!"

Dumbledore called out loudly.

Sean watched Dumbledore, noticing that the smiles of all the Professors around him had frozen.

Soon, Sean understood why.

"It sounds terrible."

Sean covered his ears.

"If you don't want to listen, you have to sing!"

Michael sang with great passion, despite being tone-deaf,

"If you don't harm others, others will harm you!"

"Makes sense."

So Sean also began to sing:

Hogwarts,

Hogwarts,

Hogwarts,

Please teach us knowledge,

Whether we are bald old men or children with scraped knees,

Our minds can accept some interesting things.

Because now our brains are empty,

Full of air, dead flies, and trivial matters,

Teach us some valuable knowledge,

Give back to us what we have forgotten,

You just do your best, the rest is up to us,

We will study hard until we turn to dust.

"You sing so well!"

After it ended, Michael leaned over,

Sean nodded, he had just applied the melody of a popular song from his previous life, and it worked well.

At least he heard the wailing and howling around him lessen significantly.

Soon, they followed a tall and slender Prefect out of the Great Hall,

walked up the spiral staircase,

walked up the spiral staircase,

still walking up the spiral staircase... "This staircase is so long it could kill me!"

Michael leaned on the railing, looking utterly dejected.

"You just said the Prefect's legs were long enough to kill you."

The Young Wizard named Anthony rolled his eyes.

"Eh?! You can eat pudding indiscriminately, but you can't speak indiscriminately, Anthony, this is a secret between brothers! How could you reveal it!"

Michael somehow regained his strength and instantly pounced to tickle Anthony.

When they entered the common room, Sean's face was pale,

if the stairs were any longer, his body wouldn't be able to take it.

"I have to find a way,"

Sean gasped heavily, muttering to himself in fragments.

At this time, the Ravenclaw freshmen had all reached the common room,

a blonde Prefect waited with a smile for the Young Wizards to catch their breath.

When everyone was breathing steadily, the Prefect finally spoke:

"Congratulations! I am Prefect Penelo Clearwater, and I am delighted to welcome you to Ravenclaw House.

Our crest is an eagle, soaring high to an unreachable peak;

Our common room is located at the top of Ravenclaw Tower,

Through the arched windows of the circular common room, you can take in the entire Hogwarts campus:

The Black Lake, the Forbidden Forest, the Quidditch Pitch, and the Greenhouse.

Other Houses are not so lucky to enjoy this beautiful view.

Of course, many people think this is not a good thing, but I can tell you,

if you learn to ride a broom, it will be incredibly wonderful!

Oh, by the way, our House ghost is The Grey Lady.

Others think she never speaks, but she will talk to Ravenclaw.

A little bit of gossip, it is said that The Grey Lady lived at the same time as the founder of Ravenclaw, perhaps they have some connection?

She is especially useful when you are lost or can't find something.

I'm sure you will have a wonderful night.

Because our four-poster beds are covered with sky-blue silk quilts;

The sound of the wind blowing outside the window always makes one feel very comfortable.

I will say it again: Congratulations on becoming a member of the smartest, most agile, and most interesting Hogwarts House!"

She did not elaborate at all; a concise paragraph activated the light in the Young Wizards' eyes.

This was also why Michael and the other Ravenclaw students applauded enthusiastically.

"Flying brooms."

Sean also remembered that some Ravenclaw students with excellent flying skills would fly back to the Tower.

He silently noted this down, placing its importance after obtaining a scholarship,

then carefully surveyed the place,

the Ravenclaw common room.

It is said to be one of the airiest and most spacious rooms in Hogwarts Castle,

it is a large circular room, with elegant arched windows on the walls, hung with blue and bronze silk,

Ravenclaw students can see the beautiful scenery outside from the windows.

The ceiling is a dome, studded with stars, and the deep blue carpet below is also studded with stars.

The room has tables and chairs, bookshelves, and a large white marble bust of Rowena Ravenclaw in a niche opposite the door.

A door next to the statue leads to the dormitories above, which Prefect Penelo was now pointing to.

"Now, everyone come to me to get a timetable, then go through this door to the dormitories; dormitory information is also on the back of the timetable."

The Prefect methodically directed the young Ravenclaw students to line up for their timetables.

Sean took a look and saw that the most difficult Potion Class was on Monday morning, and it was two consecutive classes,

which instantly gave him a sense of urgency, making him wish he could immediately return to the dormitory to review "magical potions and potions"; he had only memorized that book once,

it would be bad if he couldn't recall it immediately, and the Half-Blood Prince would not meticulously teach him.

"Sean!"

Michael called out excitedly, Sean turned his head in confusion,

"My grandmother said that people who love good food are definitely not bad!"

He shook the timetable in his hand,

a column on the back read: Dormitory 404: Xien Green, Michael Corner.

He and Michael entered the dormitory arm in arm (Michael unilaterally),

what greeted their eyes were walls hung with blue and silver decorations,

each bed had its own bookshelf, and the arched windows were hung with blue silk,

Sean skipped over these and saw the thick cyan-blue bedding.

I won't be cold anymore, Sean thought.
