Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Silent Words, Hidden Hearts

The morning sunlight spilled through the bus windows, but Yun Bom barely noticed. Her eyes were fixed on him—the silent boy who had pulled her bag that day.

Today, he looked… different. Calm, almost unreadable, yet somehow… warmer.

He opened his notebook again, and this time, he wrote something longer:

"Do you want to walk with me after school?"

Yun Bom's heart skipped a beat. She nodded slightly, unsure why her hands were shaking again.

The bus stopped, and as they got off together, the city felt both familiar and strange. The noise of the streets faded in the background as they walked side by side.

"You… don't talk to anyone like this?" she whispered, curiosity mixing with nervous excitement.

He shook his head, smiling faintly, then wrote:

"I only speak when I choose to. Words are heavy… and sometimes, silence says more."

Yun Bom couldn't help but smile. Strange, protective, mysterious… and yet, she felt safe.

A sudden thought struck her: Why did I feel drawn to him? Why did I trust him already?

As they reached a quiet park, he stopped and handed her the notebook again. She opened it carefully:

"I want you to know… not everything in me is visible. But you… I think you might understand."

Her heart pounded. Something about him—silent, unreadable, yet… real—was pulling her in.

And for the first time, Yun Bom realized… maybe she wasn't just curious. Maybe… she was beginning to care.
