"Run!"
Seeing Acnologia's terror, the only thought in the minds of the Cave-dwelling Evil Dragons was to flee for their lives!
Previously, they thought this monster was overhyped, but now they finally recognized reality.
This monster was completely beyond their ability to oppose!
"Die!"
Acnologia let out a cold laugh. A Black Dragon's Roar pierced through the mountain, directly shattering the bodies of the four cave dragons. The remaining two were torn to shreds by his sharp claws.
He opened his maw wide, activating his Devouring Dragon Slaying Magic. The souls of the slain Evil Dragons were all swallowed into his belly in an instant.
After completing this, he transformed back into human form. His gaze swept over the scattered bones and the corpses of the children, causing his inner rage to surge.
They truly were Evil Dragons, their deaths were no cause for pity!
...On the way back, Acnologia suddenly thought of the name Acnologia and slowly came to a stop.
He remembered that was the dragon from the Fairy Tail Dragon Cry Arc, who was also killed by him in the original story. The little girl lying on the ground should be Sonya. At the moment when both the dragon and the human were on the brink of death, Acnologia entered Sonya's body, and the two achieved symbiosis.
Four hundred years later, Acnologia could not leave Sonya's body. In order to resurrect, he set in motion the series of events in the Stella Kingdom.
"Could it be that the dragon called Acnologia might not be dead yet?"
Acnologia frowned slightly, then continued walking towards the camp. If that dragon really wasn't dead, he wouldn't mind killing it again in the future.
Suddenly, he looked up at the sky above the sea. A charming, blonde-haired woman, wearing a hood, sat with her snow-white long legs crossed. Behind her was a white vortex, seemingly leading to an unknown space.
Acnologia raised an eyebrow. "Moon Dragon Selene?"
He knew this female dragon. She possessed Moon Magic, wielded the power of the stars, and could freely traverse space. She was one of the harder dragons to kill among their kind.
"Lord Acnologia actually knows my name. What an honor."
Moon Dragon Selene gave a light smile at the corner of her mouth, her gaze carefully appraising the man hailed as the strongest Dragon Slayer Mage.
No wonder he could slay so many dragons. He indeed possessed an extraordinary aura.
Acnologia said indifferently, "Speak. What do you want by coming to see me? If you wish to oppose me, I don't mind letting you die right here."
Having experienced countless slaughters, his blood had gradually cooled. At present, he didn't care much for the plot. Anything standing in his way would die, regardless of good or evil.
Moon Dragon Selene's lips curled up. "I want to know if you are human or dragon now. Your black dragon form earlier was at the Dragon King Level. It would be more fitting to call you a Dragon King."
"Then, as a Dragon King, why do you stand on the side of humans? I can clearly sense your magic power is filled with evil and madness. You are no Good Dragon."
Her goal was to eliminate all dragons and create a beautiful world for humans. Acnologia's magic power told her that the most ferocious, most evil dragon was right before her eyes.
Acnologia threw his head back and laughed loudly, his voice filled with disdain. "Self-righteous fool of a woman. If you don't want to die, get out of my way!"
Judging a person's good or evil solely by their magic power? What kind of brain-dead statement was that? He had no interest in this Moon Dragon whatsoever.
However, Moon Dragon Selene was relentless. With a wave of her hand, a Moonlight Flame Slash cut off Acnologia's path ahead, the boiling flames forming a wall of fire.
Acnologia narrowed his eyes slightly, a hint of coldness in them. "You wish to oppose me?"
Moon Dragon Selene smiled faintly. "I also stand on the side of humanity. How could I oppose Lord Acnologia? I merely wish to test just how strong you are."
"How utterly boring!"
Acnologia sneered. His figure blurred, and the next moment, he appeared before Moon Dragon Selene in mid-air, reaching out to grip her neck and lifting her up.
"See now? Are you prepared to die?"
His voice was icy. His hand slowly tightened, causing Moon Dragon Selene to feel suffocated. Yet, she showed no panic. With a light laugh, her figure dissipated.
The next moment, Moon Dragon Selene appeared behind Acnologia, raising her hand to unleash a Moonlight Slash upon his back.
"An attack like this is barely good enough to scratch an itch!"
A puff of white smoke rose from Acnologia's back where he was struck, but he was completely unharmed. He spun and delivered a side kick—swift and tyrannical—instantly sending Moon Dragon Selene flying over a thousand meters, smashing her hard into the ground.
Suddenly, the sky gradually darkened. A full moon appeared as if from nowhere, and Moon Dragon Selene had already transformed into her dragon form, resembling a fox with nine massive tails unfurled behind her.
"Altering Heaven and Earth?"
Acnologia showed surprise. This Moon Dragon could actually do such a thing.
This wasn't to say her strength was overwhelming, but this ability to reverse the very cosmos felt incredible.
"I am the Divine Dragon who commands the bright moon. Having such an ability is only natural, wouldn't you say?"
Moon Dragon Selene said with a light laugh, "Then, let the second round begin!"
"Truly fascinating. The world of magic indeed cannot be measured by common sense."
Acnologia stopped dwelling on it. His black wings spread, and his entire body transformed into his black dragon form, unleashing a heaven-shaking roar.
The Moon Dragon before him was at the Dragon King Level. This peculiar ability had sparked a bit of interest in him for the first time in a while.
"Moon Shadow Blade!"
Moon Dragon Selene flapped her wings, ascending into the sky. Empowered by moonlight, countless massive blades of light instantly shot through the air.
"All magic is useless against me. If you truly wish to defeat me, come fight me in physical combat!"
Acnologia charged towards Moon Dragon Selene. His terrifying magic power stirred up a destructive storm, sending all the surrounding sand, stones, and buildings flying.
"I see!"
Hearing this, Moon Dragon Selene felt somewhat troubled. No wonder so many Dragon Kings had fallen by his hand. In this world of magic, Acnologia was the bane of all magic.
Now that she knew Acnologia possessed such an ability, she lost interest in continuing the entanglement. Engaging in a brawl with such a brute-force Dragon King was not to her liking.
"Then, Lord Acnologia, until we meet again!" She pointed into the void, opening a spatial teleportation gate, preparing to leave.
"You think you can fight when you want and flee when you want? Things aren't that good!"
Acnologia's voice was icy. He opened his mouth, rapidly gathering magic power. A terrifying fluctuation scorched and warped the space. With a roar, a black energy erupted forth.
Sensing that world-destroying, earth-shattering roar, Moon Dragon Selene dared not hesitate. She instantly traversed space, narrowly and dangerously dodging the roar that pierced heaven and earth.
"Dodged it..."
She arrived at a plain, transforming back into human form. Looking at the scorched mark grazed on her arm, she patted her ample chest with lingering fear. "What a terrifying Black Dragon. One moment later, and life or death would have been uncertain."
No wonder she heard that King of Red Dragons, Osta, had been severely wounded. With such terrifying magic power and an immunity to magic, who could possibly kill him?
"Most importantly, possessing such violent, chaotic magic power, yet he can still maintain his sanity. His willpower is frighteningly strong..."
Moon Dragon Selene rested her chin on her hand, thinking for a moment. Judging solely by magic power was perhaps really a bit rash. She could sense that after Acnologia knew she stood on humanity's side, he seemed to have held back... She suddenly let out a light laugh. "His strength isn't much inferior to the Dragon Emperor of another world. With him, perhaps humanity truly has a chance of victory."
If she didn't have to lift a finger herself to eliminate all the dragons, that would be the best outcome, as she wasn't particularly fond of fighting either.
On the other side, Acnologia saw that his roar hadn't hit its mark but didn't pay it much mind. After all, she was the only dragon capable of crossing dimensions. Perhaps she might be useful in the future.
He was quite envious of this kind of Space Magic. It allowed one to go wherever they pleased.
He would have to research it himself when he had the chance.
