The room went quiet after the chibi had finished speaking. Alex hesitated. Was it really wise for him to learn insane fighting skills if there's a chance that he might not make it out alive? Was this whole thing really worth it?
He weighed the two options in his mind. One path was simple and safe. where he could sign up at a local gym, learn basic martial arts like taekwondo, maybe judo and slowly build his foundation, though it might take months, maybe years, before he could even use it in a real fight. But at least he'd still be alive.
And second. The harder, more dangerous path. Though it sounded brutal, it would be relatively faster. Plus from the way the system said it, it sounded like it would give him more rich combat experience and would temper his fighting skills all round.
