Two Months Later, Hale-Ferguson Residence
By late August, many schools around the country had begun opening their doors for the new school year as summer slowly drew to a close.

"Daddy, look!"
Ambrose had just finished adjusting his jacket when Orion chirped excitedly behind him. He glanced over his shoulder first before turning around fully, lips curling at what his boy was pointing at.
"I just tied my shoes on my own." Orion squealed, hopping with nearly every word he said. "I even got the loops papa used to tie right."
Ambrose's smile turned proud. "That's my boy." He gestured for Orion to give him a high five. But then a thought crossed his mind. "Orion—did you use your powers to tie your shoes?"
The kid only blinked at him with those big golden eyes at first.
Until Ambrose twisted his lips.
Orion's cheeks reddened. "Yes."
"... So you still can't tie your shoes on your own?"
"Hey! No fair. It's harder than you think."
