Chapter 7: The Name That Broke Him

changed.

"…Wait."

She looked up.

"Why didn't I think of this earlier?"

Everyone leaned in.

"There's another option."

"Which one?" several voices asked at once.

Hyuri answered slowly.

"The Diamond Kingdom."

Everything shattered.

In an instant.

Yura's eyes widened.

His breathing stopped.

Then—

Rage exploded.

"I don't need help from any kingdom!"

His voice thundered through the hall.

"I'll handle the Dragon God alone!"

The air trembled under the weight of his anger.

"And if anyone has a problem with that—"

He turned, his eyes cold.

"Stay out of this war."

Without waiting for a response—

He walked out.

Yura stepped onto the balcony.

The night stretched endlessly before him, silent and cold.

"Yura…"

Yuri approached quietly.

"What happened?"

He closed his eyes.

"Nothing."

A pause.

"I just… spoke a little harshly."

Yuri gently held his hand.

"I understand," she said softly.

"That kingdom… something happened to you there, didn't it?"

Yura didn't answer.

But his eyes trembled.

For the first time—

Emotion broke through.

Tears formed.

"But remember this," Yuri continued, her voice steady,

"I will always stand with you."

Yura pulled her into a tight embrace.

Silent.

Unmoving.

This time—

He didn't say a single word.

Far above the Demon Kingdom, a throne formed in the sky.

Anthres sat upon it, resting his chin against his hand as he watched the battlefield below.

"Rox. Rex."

His voice echoed lazily.

"Go on… play with them."

Rox grinned.

"I love games."

Rex smirked.

"Same here."

Both vanished instantly.

Rox appeared before Iera.

"I'll play with you."

Iera smiled, fearless.

"Then come."

At the same time, Rex appeared in front of Twras.

"I'll take you."

Twras didn't even flinch.

"I have no interest in you."

High above, Anthres chuckled.

"Oh?"

His gaze shifted.

"Two women still standing…"

Two female dragon warriors descended beside him.

"Go," he ordered calmly.

"Kill them."

They vanished in a flash.

Rox moved first.

A single punch—

Iera was sent flying across the battlefield, crashing into the kingdom wall.

She rose again, blood trailing from her lips.

"You're strong…"

Her energy erupted outward.

"But not stronger than me."

She moved faster than sound.

A punch landed squarely on Rox's face—

Followed by another strike midair—

Rox was slammed into the ground, buried deep beneath it.

Elsewhere, Twras moved effortlessly.

Each of Rex's attacks—

Dodged.

Without effort.

"You're weak," Twras said coldly.

Rex's expression twisted with anger.

Energy surged around him as he attacked again—

Faster.

Stronger.

Twras raised a single finger.

A beam of energy shot forward.

Rex couldn't react.

The attack sent him flying across the battlefield.

Above it all, Anthres watched.

And sighed.

"…Boring."

A pause.

"Enough."

His voice echoed across the battlefield.

"Rox. Rex."

"You may use your full power now."

Rox stood.

Then—

Released everything.

The air collapsed.

Iera froze.

Her body refused to move.

Sweat poured down her face.

Rex did the same.

The pressure doubled.

Tripled.

Crushed everything in its path.

All four clan leaders—

Frozen.

Unable to move.

Unable to breathe.

This was no battle.

This—

was a warning.
