"You just came to show me such an unpleasant scene?" Matthew asked as he made a bone spear appear in his left hand.
Three sharp caws, and the Strange Beast spoke in a malicious voice:
"What differentiates a rational Being from one that is not rational? Why can one be devoured without hesitation and the other not?"
"Call me a hypocrite, but that is a defect that arises with reason. It is reason that allows us to decide what we want and what we don't want, after evaluating everything we can evaluate," Matthew responded.
The Strange Beast released the Fairy and observed Matthew meticulously.
Two high-pitched squawks.
"They are directing their gazes at this area of the forest," the Strange Beast went away jumping between the trees of the forest.
Sigh!
"Nothing is easy. They? That Beast refers to other rational beasts?" Matthew murmured.
"Yes," the Fairy looked down as Matthew watched her.
"So this area of the forest is becoming more and more dangerous. Perhaps those Rational Beasts sensed the power of the System," thought Matthew, and since the System gave no answers, he considered that his hypothesis was probably correct.

"Thank you," said the Fairy with a cautious attitude.
Matthew just nodded and directed his gaze towards the deepest part of the forest.
