Four years had passed since the Purge had begun.
So many people had died in the East, where the catastrophe had initially started. The great powerhouses of the world had managed to suppress the Purge by sacrificing the East entirely and saving the West completely behind the massive barrier known as the Great Wall of East and West.
Vaelion's population before the Purge had been 3.8 billion, in which the East contributed 2.2 billion and the West contributed 1.6 billion.
Nearly countless people had died due to this disaster, and the entire population of the East had received a deep, lasting scar that would never fully fade.
The initial population of the East was 2.2 billion, and approximately one billion people had died in the East during the chaos.
From the remaining 1.2 billion people of the East, approximately 900 million people had been successfully immigrated into the West through the countless efforts of Kurana Alexanderia and Ritik Aether, with the crucial help of the Aether Titans.
No matter how much they had tried, 300 million people still remained stuck in the deep parts of the East. In these four years, the monsters had increased tremendously in number and strength, to the point that even with the assistance of the Aether Titans, Kurana could not save the 300 million survivors of the East.
"But as we know the power shifted suddenly, the politics of world changed, so here I am to completely dominate the western region on my own," Alexander Vane said.
Without blinking his eyes, Alexander starts reading the letter given to him by Kurana.

Alexander,
When this letter has reached your hands, then the East has truly become a memory.
The fires have taken our cities, the seas have swallowed our borders, and the governments that once claimed to represent the people now exist only as fractured councils and desperate militias. Yet Vaelion still breathes. As long as it breathes, our people have a future worth fighting for.
I am entrusting you with a mission no army can accomplish while i am in the eastern region trying to rescue survivors.
The surviving Western nations still possess functioning governments, industries, and elections. They are divided by fear, corruption, and the ambitions of men who profit from catastrophe. You are not to become another tyrant among them. Instead, earn your authority through the will of the people. Rise democratically. Let every office you hold be one the citizens themselves choose to give you.
Use your gifts wisely. Inspire hope where others spread panic. Build alliances where others build walls. Expose those who exploit the suffering of the innocent, and remove them from power through law, truth, and the people's judgment. A nation rebuilt on justice will outlast one built on fear.
Your greatest objective is not conquest.
It is to secure a lasting political home for the survivors of the East. They must not remain refugees forever. Negotiate their rights. Win them citizenship, dignity, and representation. Let no child born from our ashes be called unwanted again.
There is another matter, one spoken only in whispers.
Some claim that the true balance of power in the West does not belong to presidents, prime ministers, or parliaments. They speak instead of a single hidden figure whose family name is Ren. Few have seen this person, yet countless leaders unknowingly move according to their influence. Whether these stories are truth or myth, I cannot say.
But if you discover the one who bears the name Ren, do not treat them as an enemy without reason. If you can earn their trust and secure their support, the path toward unifying the West may become far less bloody than history predicts.
Remember this above all:
Power is easiest to seize by force, but it is strongest when freely entrusted by the people.
The East does not need another ruler.
It needs a statesman worthy of rebuilding civilization.
Carry our hopes across the ruins of Vaelion.
May history remember that when the world ended, some still chose to build instead of destroy.
Kurana Alexanderia
