Chapter 7 - RBE 4

Abandoned Archive Hall — Midnight

Dust drifted through the thin beam of moonlight that slipped between cracked wooden panels. The archive hall had long been forgotten by most of the sect… but tonight, it became the birthplace of a secret that would change everything.

Tian Xu moved quietly between shelves of ancient scrolls.

His breathing was steady, but his eyes were sharp. He had followed whispers — fragments of conversation, unfinished sentences, uneasy glances.

And now, hidden behind a torn curtain near the council chamber wall, he finally heard the truth.

Muffled Voice — Di Tian Yi: "…gradual reduction. No sudden moves. The Light Clan will not realize until their foundation collapses."

Golden God: "And the girl?"

Silver God: "She will have no path left but the one we both will make her choose to marry us simultaneously and make her ours like a HοτηΥ bitch."

A faint chuckle echoed.

Di Tian Yi:"By the time the ceremony arrives, resistance will be… impractical."

Tian Xu's fingers tightened around the edge of the curtain.

His heartbeat pounded like war drums in his ears. Every word struck him like a blade — not only the scheme of a twisted union, but the calculated dismantling of his entire clan.

He stepped back into the darkness, his face pale but his gaze burning with resolve.

Later That Night — Light Clan Inner Residence

A small circle of trusted elders gathered in a concealed chamber. The lantern flame flickered nervously, mirroring the tension in the room.

Elder Rong: "Are you certain of what you heard?"

Tian Xu: "I wish I were not."

His voice was low, steady, but heavy.

"This is no rumor. It is a design… one that ends with our clan erased and Tian Ya trapped."

Silence fell like a stone into deep water.

Elder Mei: "Then we must confront the Sect Master—"

Tian Xu: "No."He raised a hand firmly.

"Confrontation is what they expect. And what they are prepared to crush."

The elders exchanged uneasy glances.

Tian Xu: "We survive not by strength now… but by foresight."

He unfurled an old parchment across the table — a map marked with faint golden ink.

Tian Xu:"There is an ancient vessel… a Holy-Class World Ship. It has not sailed in decades, but it still holds enough space and provisions to sustain our people. Food, water, cultivation chambers — all intact."

Elder Rong: "You intend to move the clan… secretly?"

Tian Xu:"Yes. Quietly. In phases. Families first, then disciples. No announcements. No panic."

Elder Mei: "And Tian Ya?"

Tian Xu's eyes softened for a brief moment.

Tian Xu:"She will not be left behind. When the final group boards… she leaves with them."

A deep breath filled the room, followed by reluctant nods.

Elder Rong:"This is exile."

Tian Xu: "No."

His gaze hardened.

"This is preservation."

The Next Evening — Private Courtyard

Tian Xu stood alone beneath the old cedar tree, watching lantern lights flicker across the sect's distant towers. To anyone else, it looked peaceful. To him, it looked like a cage slowly closing.

Footsteps approached softly.

Trusted Disciple: "Elder… the preparations have begun. Supplies are being moved under the guise of restoration work."

Tian Xu nodded.

Tian Xu:"Good. Let no one suspect urgency. Calm waters hide the deepest currents."

Trusted Disciple: "And the young mistress?"

Tian Xu closed his eyes briefly.

Tian Xu:"She will learn only when departure is certain. Hope is safer than fear… until action is ready."

Final Whisper Before Dawn

As the first light of morning crept over the mountains, Tian Xu looked toward the horizon where the hidden dock lay beyond mist and forest.

Tian Xu (to himself):

"They plot to bind her future and bury our name…

Then we shall become the wind they cannot grasp."

Behind the quiet walls of the Tian Sect, life continued as usual — disciples training, bells ringing, banners swaying in the breeze.

Yet beneath that ordinary rhythm, an unseen migration had begun.

Crates moved at night. Families vanished in twos and threes.

And somewhere beyond the cliffs, an ancient world ship waited in silence —

its vast halls soon to carry not just a clan…

but their last unbroken hope.
