Chapter 7 - chapter 6

"I see, then I have no choice but to leave."

With this, the invincible man stood up and began to leave the room without another word; however, Angel had other plans. The door that the hero had entered through soon closed and became part of the wall, sealing the only exit and entrance.

"No, no, no, you're not leaving this place until we fight. I can sense you've been at least graced by God. You have three blessings, still less than my five, but very impressive."

Angel said this while standing from his bone throne, revealing his appearance.

Angel was dressed in a pure white semi-baggy shirt tucked into a pair of baggy black pants; both ankles were wrapped in white cloth, securing the pants to his body. Both of his wrists had black bracers on them. He wore no shoes and nothing to obscure his face; he had long, dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes. On top of his head, he kept a halo made from fire and gold, which allowed it to float above him, making him seem more like an angel. Despite his name angel lacked any wings at all.

As he stood, he flung his right arm to the right and created a spear from nothing and ignited it in a fiery blaze.

Realizing he didn't have any good options, the hero, with his right arm, made his index thumb and middle finger form an almost claw motion as if he was grabbing a golf ball. As soon as he did, a small circle formed, which was a blue and purple color. He then flung this circle into the wall in front of him. It instantly made a portal, passing to the other side of the wall, and he walked through it, waving his left arm as he did, after he closed the portal and left the bunker.

This seemed to infuriate angel and so he threw the spear he had crafted at the first thing he saw. This happened to be the prisoner who served him a plate of grapes. seemingly killing him instantly.

Having failed to recruit Angel, the invincible man went to find the next option, Redrose. As he flew to the next place, he decided to take a small pitstop, well, more of a detor a long one.

He flew out of the city he was in and across 2 others to reach Ginusburg, a small city with older architecture than the city he had been in, known as Rasan. Upon reaching Ginusburg, he landed within a cemetery on the outermost edge of the city, landing every gracefully, making sure to cause no damage to the graves or the grass.

He landed on one particular grave that had a dark green staff leaning up against it; the grave itself read staff.

"I'm sorry, old friend, no one could replace you."

The hero said with a drop of water running down his left cheek before landing on the grass.

Just before leaving, a young man walked up behind the hero.

"hello uncle."

The young man spoke with trace amounts of anger and disappointment in his voice.

"hello grapple"

Grapple had met invincible man on many occasions and had taken to calling him uncle. Yet he was not glad to see him this time.

Grapple walked ahead of the hero and took the flowers from the previous week out of the vase that had been embedded within the ground and replaced them with new ones. He grabbed all the wilted petals off the grass before standing up and looking the hero in the eye.

"You should have been here, he would've wanted it."

Yet the hero knew this wasn't true. Staff had told him that if he had died first, to make sure he didn't have a big funeral, and if it was to not show up until at least a week had passed, and everyone forgot about him. Staff knew that he would never be enough to be remembered forever, and he never cared; he had only ever wanted to help those he could when he could.

"..."

The hero was speechless, or rather, perhaps he just acted that way so his brother wouldn't have regrets. If he had to be the bad guy to one person to make them feel better, then that's what he'd do, because that's what the man below him wouldve done, that's what the staff wouldve done.

After Grapple left, the hero stood there silent and then, without a word, left the ground and went to find Redrose, leaving Ginusburg. He landed in a place called starbird a large city home to some of the richest people within this sector.

The planet had been split up into 6 sectors, simply named 1-6. This was Sector 2, home to many heroes and the hq for the planetary defenders. Some called it the safest of the sectors; others called Sector 3 the safest, as it was home to the assassination organization. This sector had no police or any true laws except your own moral laws. However, this worked, and the city had little to no violance but if there was, the assassins were there to deal with them permanently. Sector 1, however, had many laws as it was the wealthiest of all the sectors. This sector was looked over by the govement the same one that Loadout worked for, and the same one the invincible man had served under; they were directly responsible for the way he is now. Sectors 4-6 had very small populations in comparison to the others and were mostly used for power and food production.

Star Bird was on the edge of Sector 2 and leading to 3 and was quite a way from the other cities. The city itself was rather unique. It was built many miles in the air in attemts to maintain the luxury and keep the poor people out of the streets, meaning only the wealthy could get up to it. Having access to many means of personal air travel.

After reaching a massive tower that was the Metal Glove's family estate, the hero pushed the button to call Redrose. After a few moments of waiting, the door opened, and a receptionist led him to an elevator and brought him to the 33rd floor. This was where Redrose lived. He walked up to the door at the end of a very small hallway and knocked on it. After a moment, a man opened the door. He had black hair with deep red highlights and a rose tattoo over his heart.

"Redrose, you are invited to join the planetary defenders, as you know your brother Metal Glove is already a member."

"Oh yeah, that thing, umm, sure as long as I get to fight ill join."

The man had a mildly raspy voice, sounding as if he'd been screaming his whole life.

"Alright then i shall let the others know of the news, and you'll be sent a few things in the coming week, a numbered badge signifying your rank and allowing you to travel anywhere without restriction, and a communicator for communication between members."

"ok"

With this quick exchange, the hero left and went back to Rasan.

Finding this quite boring hacker decided to look into the assassin, who had no information listed about him during the meeting, this being Deadly.
