There was a ring in the interview room, which looked like where Tony Stark usually worked out.
It looked familiar. Qin Xiao stared at it for a long time and then realized it looked like the place where Tony Stark interviewed Black Widow in Iron Man 2.
This was in line with Tony Stark's personality. Sitting in the office with a straight face wasn't his style.
"Korean?"
As soon as Qin Xiao entered, Tony Stark opened the door and asked.
"Me? I'm from China!"
Qin Xiao pointed at himself and said.
"YES!"
Tony Stark clenched his fist and made a victory gesture.
Happy, next to him, pulled out a ten-dollar bill with a dark face and placed it on the table.
These two guys were actually betting on me, Qin Xiao thought to himself, as he walked over to Tony Stark.
"To be honest, I don't really like facing people. It's not you personally, I just don't like facing strangers, especially men."
"If I hadn't promised everyone at the board meeting this year, I probably wouldn't have come here to see your internship report."
"So let's get down to business. First of all, congratulations, Mr. Qin, your internship report is quite outstanding."
"Your lab supervisor gave you an A grade, saying you were very helpful in the lab. So now there's one question left: do you want to stay in the lab or go to the legal department to do the legal work you're more proficient in?"
Qin Xiao's information showed that he had graduated from law school, which is why Tony Stark asked him this.
"Well… to be honest, I don't mind. It's up to you guys how you arrange it. And, Mr. Stark, actually, I'm not particularly skilled in law!"
Qin Xiao spread his hands and said.
"Oh?"
Tony Stark glanced at Qin Xiao's file, made sure he hadn't misread anything, and then said jokingly,
"Could it be Chinese Kung Fu?"
"I do know a little Chinese Kung Fu, though I'm not particularly strong. For example, like the burly bodyguard beside you, I can only handle, um… about ten of them. But that's not my…"
"Wait, wait, I have to interrupt you. You just said you could handle ten of me?"
Happy, who was standing to the side, couldn't take it anymore and directly interrupted Qin Xiao.
"Sorry, Boss, I have to interrupt you. This concerns my dignity."
Happy had followed Tony Stark for more than a decade and was one of the people he trusted most.
So, he spoke a bit more naturally.
It was their little tussle that piqued Tony Stark's interest.
Ignoring Happy, he turned to Qin Xiao with curiosity.
"You haven't answered his question. Are you sure you can handle ten of them?"
Tony Stark admired Qin Xiao's confidence, but he didn't believe for a second that he could take on ten people.
But hey, young people tend to exaggerate.
But Qin Xiao nodded very seriously.
"About right. Maybe twelve at most. After all, he looks pretty burly. It'll take some effort."
With Qin Xiao's current physical condition, it wouldn't even take ten people like Happy to be knocked out with one punch.
But it didn't matter. Getting Tony Stark's attention was all that mattered to complete the mission.
However, Happy was clearly a bit angry. After all, he was Tony Stark's personal bodyguard.
Being questioned about his fighting ability was one thing, but the other person looked like a young, frail man.
"Kid, I don't know if your Chinese Kung Fu is as amazing as you claim, but I'll give you a chance to take back your words. Otherwise..."
Happy took a step forward and clenched his fists at Qin Xiao.
Qin Xiao smiled slightly, not directly acknowledging Happy, but instead walked directly to a sandbag.
He twisted his waist, inhaled, and stepped forward with one foot, aiming a punch at the sandbag.
"Bang!"
The sandbag was directly blown apart with one punch.
"Oh! My god!"
"Oh! My god!"
Tony Stark and Pepper Potts exclaimed in unison.
"The Kung Fu I've learned isn't very good for sparring, and I'm not very good at controlling my power. Are you sure you still want to continue? Just so you know, I don't have any money to pay for medical bills!"
Qin Xiao finished speaking, and he could clearly see Happy's Adam's apple bob, as he swallowed a large gulp.
"Alright, come back, Happy, his punch is even more powerful than a world boxing champion, you don't need to worry about me firing you for this."
Tony Stark stood up, walked over to Happy, patted him on the shoulder, and smoothed things over.
Then, he asked Qin Xiao.
"How did you do that? I mean, just now, it obviously exceeded certain… I mean, that looked very unscientific, you understand what I mean?"
Tony Stark was clearly a little interested.
Qin Xiao finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Because the system's prompt had already sounded.
"Congratulations, Host. Your performance just now made a deep impression on Tony Stark. He'll remember your name. The mission is perfectly complete. Reward: 500 points."
"The Host has received points. System Shop is now open!"
Qin Xiao finally breathed a sigh of relief that he had completed the mission, but he didn't have time to check what was in the shop.
Instead, he smiled slightly and said to Tony Stark,
"It's just a technique for a momentary burst of power. It requires years of practice!"
"Years of practice, huh?"
Tony Stark muttered to himself.
"If, and I mean if, I were to learn this fighting technique from you, could I reach your level?"
He gestured with his hand, miming a punch that would explode a sandbag.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Stark, but frankly, those techniques require tedious, painful practice day after day. I don't think you can do it..."
Qin Xiao shrugged.
Tony Stark was genuinely interested, and Qin Xiao truly didn't have any options. He didn't have any skills.
He was like this after Isaiah's haphazard blood transfusion.
If he didn't have the system, he didn't even know if he could have survived the mutation.
But this display, in Tony Stark's eyes, was interpreted as disdain.
"You doubt me? You think I can't do it?"
Tony Stark said, a bit competitively.
He'd just been asking out of curiosity.
Although he was self-centered, arrogant, and conceited,
he certainly wasn't the type to lack all self-awareness.
He was very clear about his strengths.
But for some reason, Qin Xiao's words gave him a rare feeling of not wanting to concede.
It was like when his father used to praise Captain America, Steve Rogers, in front of him and criticize him for being useless.
