Chapter 55 - Homeless Peter Parker

"Sir, how exactly do you know me?" Peter Parker was startled when the person immediately called out his name, and quickly removed his hood.

He had thought that absolutely no one in this universe would recognize him, but this mysterious figure had effortlessly called out his name and knew he wasn't from this universe, which surprised him greatly.

Peter Parker was an 18-year-old young man, just entering society and inexperienced.

He didn't have much guard up against the person, he was just curious and wanted to know how the other person knew his true identity.

The person looked at Peter Parker, a hint of a smile flashing in his eyes.

He didn't directly answer Peter Parker's question, but instead asked back, "You don't need to know how I found out. Are you here to hunt down Spider-Man? Does your world also have a Peter Parker named Peter Parker?"

Peter Parker was stunned by the other person's question, but he quickly reacted.

He nodded, answering, "Yes, sir. Originally, according to the plan, I was supposed to send the various <> back to their respective universes, and then destroy the <>."

"But something unexpected happened in the end. <> and I don't know why, we were both sent to this parallel universe by <>, and then I followed <> all the way here."

<> said, scratching his head, looking a little puzzled. He was clearly also confused about why he had appeared in this unfamiliar parallel universe.

"As for our world, there was originally a <> named Peter Parker. But he has been killed by <>," <> said, his tone filled with anger.

He glared at the corpse of <> on the ground, a hint of killing intent flashing in his eyes.

"The <> squad? So many <> went to your spacetime?" <> wanted to confirm if it was the same version he was thinking of.

Upon hearing this question, <> immediately became interested, he replied enthusiastically, "Actually, not many, just five <>.

He started counting on his fingers, "The first one I know is Peter B. Parker from the future universe. He's my master, and he taught me a lot."

"The second one is , she's really cool and agile."

"The third one is from 2033, ."

"The fourth one is , with a unique black and white style, very mysterious."

"And there's also , who isn't human. He's very interesting and always makes us laugh."

turned his head and looked at , asking with some anticipation, "I wonder, what should I call you, sir?"

After listening to 's introduction, had a general idea.

This should be a plot from 's parallel universe, but with some slight differences.

The original ending was that had perfectly completed the mission and stayed in his own universe.

But now, for reasons unknown, the spatial-temporal rift generated by <> brought him and <> to this universe.

This meant that the ending of that universe might not be as perfect as the original.

<> carefully observed <>, and couldn't help but sigh. That Peter Parker from that timeline was truly the most successful one among the many parallel universes.

He had wealth, a happy family, and a lovely daughter. However, fate was so cruel to him.

He was ultimately cruelly killed by <>. He originally had a chance to escape, but to protect the <> in front of him, he chose to sacrifice himself.

"My name is <>, and <> in this universe is my godfather," <> replied.

<> immediately became alert upon hearing this news. He stared intently at <>, his entire body tensed, ready to defend himself.

In his view, <> had a close relationship with the <> in this universe, which made him have to be wary of potential danger. <> looked at <>'s reaction and felt a burst of amusement.

"Don't worry, <>," he said calmly.

<> knew they'd misspoke and quickly explained, "It just slipped out, a slip of the tongue. Don't worry, <>."

"Didn't you see I already took out your universe's <>? If I wanted to kill you, I would have done it already, wouldn't I?"

"What are your plans now? Can you get back to your universe on your own?" <> asked curiously.

After all, as far as <> knew, their time-space didn't have <> and they didn't have the ability to travel through parallel universes yet.

<> scratched their head after listening, looking at <> with anticipation: "Mr. <>, since you know I'm from a parallel universe, you should know how to get me back."

In <>'s opinion, this Mr. <>, being so knowledgeable, should be able to take them back.

"I know the method, but I don't have the ability, or rather, I can't find them." <> was telling the truth, people like <>, <>, and <> had this ability.

The problem was, Doctor Strange didn't know if the other him even existed in this time-space, and Ancient One really didn't want to look.

Right now, the Doctor Strange of their universe was still working as a doctor in a hospital.

"What about your Spider-Squad? Can't they take you back?"

Doctor Strange asked, looking at Spider-Man, who was occasionally turning into a mosaic. At the same time, he knew that Spider-Man couldn't stay in this universe for too long, or it would be life-threatening.

Doctor Strange remembered that without Spider-Man's help, he wouldn't live long in the parallel universe. But it seemed that someone would only give this to him later on.

Doctor Strange also wanted to find an opportunity to see the headquarters of the Spider-Mans. There were at least a thousand different parallel universe Spider-Mans there. It would be awesome to go inside and make friends.

But it seemed that only Spider-Mans could enter that place, so he needed to think of a way.

Hearing this answer, a hint of disappointment flashed in Doctor Strange's eyes: "They all returned to their respective universes through the Spider-Man. Unless this universe also has a Spider-Man, I don't know how to go back."

He patted Lin's shoulder, comforting him, "Don't be too sad. There's always a solution."

Lin raised his head, a glimmer of hope in his eyes. "Really? Do you have a plan?"

"Why don't you stay with me for a while? I have plenty of spare rooms. You probably don't have anywhere else to go, right?" Lin invited him.

As long as Lin was there, he could definitely wait for other Lin's to come and rescue him, and then they would have a way to go to another universe together!

Lin nodded gratefully, knowing that Lin was thinking of him.

After all, he was homeless now, with no acquaintances in this universe. Lin in front of him was his only hope.

"Come on, let's go back to my place first." Lin turned and left, with Lin following closely behind.

The system screen also had a new prompt.

"Congratulations, Host, you have successfully added Morales as a friend."

"Congratulations, Host, you have obtained the attribute: Stealth."

"Congratulations, Host, you have gained 10 friend points."

"Does the Host wish to merge now?"

"Merge immediately."
