Inside the restaurant, only a few minutes had passed. For Master Ye and the others, it was just a quick stroll outside, not even a warm-up.
Strictly speaking, only Master Ye had moved around a bit. John Wick and the others hadn't even budged, they just went to watch a show.
But for Coulson and Natasha, those few minutes felt incredibly long.
Every minute felt like torture for them.
They never would have imagined that just a few minutes ago, they were boasting about how powerful S.H.I.E.L.D. was, thinking Chen Ye and his people couldn't possibly stand against them. Yet, in mere minutes, they were being roughed up by Chen Ye, or rather, by Chen Ye's subordinates, against the table.
Coulson and Natasha had also heard the gunfire from the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents outside, thinking Chen Ye's people would soon be riddled with bullets. They were even considering whether to spare Chen Ye's life when the agents came in.
Just as Coulson was indulging in his pleasant fantasies, the sound of gunfire suddenly ceased.
At this moment, Coulson looked at Natasha with a puzzled expression, only to see that she was equally bewildered.
Just as Coulson was about to turn around to see what was happening outside, the gravity that had been applied to him prevented him from moving.
Coulson could only curse under his breath: "Shift!"

Master Ye didn't answer, instead walking into the back kitchen. He left Natasha and Coulson staring at each other.
Seeing that Master Ye wouldn't respond, Coulson could only fume impotently.
In contrast, Natasha was very calm, even joking, "It seems we're going to be someone's prisoners. Hell's Kitchen really is a place of hidden talents."
"Don't worry, it doesn't seem like he wants to kill us. He probably doesn't want to anger the Federation."
Natasha clearly saw that Chen Ye didn't want to kill them; he just wanted to teach them a lesson.
However, the strength they displayed shocked Natasha. If one of Chen Ye's subordinates was this powerful, then Chen Ye himself must be even more so.
Natasha couldn't help but think that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s current power probably couldn't do anything to Chen Ye.
Just as the two were lost in thought, Chen Ye, wearing a white apron, slowly walked out, holding a knife inlaid with the Dragon Pattern.
"Master Ye," Chen Ye said calmly to Master Ye, finding a chair and sitting down. Master Ye understood and removed the gravity pressing down on Natasha and Coulson.
As soon as the words fell, Natasha and Coulson felt the invisible hand that had been pressing on them disappear.
The two seemed unsure and slowly raised their heads, supporting themselves with their hands on the table.
Natasha, realizing she had regained her mobility, instantly drew the gun from her waistband, aiming it at Chen Ye and Master Ye.
"What do you want? You dare to openly attack Federation police and obstruct official duties?" Coulson raised his gun and said.
Chen Ye, upon hearing this, was not annoyed and pointed to the camera in the corner of the restaurant, saying, "We haven't done anything. It was you who suddenly wanted to kowtow to us. If you don't believe it, you can check the surveillance."
"I advise you to go outside and take a look first. Then reorganize your words and talk to me." Chen Ye was truly fed up with the people from S.H.I.E.L.D., couldn't they see their current situation?

Although people in their line of work were always prepared to risk sacrificing themselves, writing a report after so many people had been sacrificed at once meant he had an inescapable responsibility.
After confirming that the agents had only lost their ability to act and seeing many residents of Hell's Kitchen watching from all sides, Coulson knew they couldn't stay here any longer. He turned around, immediately reverting to his friendly facade, and said to Chen Ye:
"Mr. Chen Ye, this is all a misunderstanding. I will explain to the higher-ups that this is completely absurd. It is obvious that the relevant departments gave incorrect information because the people involved were from Hell's Kitchen, which led to all of this. I will testify for you and have the relevant departments personally apologize."
Clearly, Coulson knew he wasn't a match for Chen Ye and wanted to shift the blame to other departments through this method.
Chen Ye looked at this man, whose face changed faster than a book being flipped, with amusement. He was indeed the glue of the Avengers.

"No need. I'll talk to him myself." Chen Ye took out his phone. His phone began to ring, and the caller ID showed an unknown number.
