As I was looking upon the land I had just created, I felt a fluctuation in the fog, "It seems that Gehrman finally learned how to enter Eden."
He was looking down at the young man that was looking around in curiosity, "Interesting, I guess I should pay my new summoned some attention."
————————————————
"So this is milords domain. It looks beautiful." He went into a hysterical rant until he felt his brand on his back respond to something. He found someone Infront of him that felt extremely familiar.
"Do you like the place?"
"Um, uh yes. Are… you?"
"Yes. I am Pneuma."
"Uh oh, are you… human?"
"I am. Does that dull your faith?" The man Infront spoke cheerfully.
"Just one more question. Was I picked randomly?"
"Your questioning the authenticity of my summoning? You assume I used a standard summoning ritual?" Gehrman nodded his head at my inquiry, "I didn't use that ritual, it's inefficient and frankly stupid. My way is far better."
"Why me?"
I contemplated his question and decided to show him, " Look out there." I said as I pointed at a planet projected through the fog out into the horizon.
" What is that place? Is it special to you?"
"No but it should be to you."
"Huh?"
"That was your home." My statement sent shock through his body, " When the grayfog was complete and proven effective. I used it to explore the multiverse, scouring planet after planet absentmindedly, but I found an interesting soul. One not filled with ambition but with determination, one who wanted to live yet not know what that life should be filled with. You were a blank slate and I found that beautiful."
" So you picked me because you found my soul beautiful?"
I nodded and continued, " To be fair, I wasn't planning on your faith and devotion to me, all I wanted to do was watch you progress through the world. You were in a sense only meant to be entertainment."
Gehrman looked out into the void, at his old world, processing my words, " Why are you telling me this?"
I gave him a resolute gaze, " So that you can make a choice. The moment you found out I was human, your faith has been wavering. Your choices are devotion to me or freedom over your own life." I could see he seemed pretty conflicted over the decision, " I'll give you a bi-"
" No need!" As I turned to face him, he was already on his knees, " Honestly my lord, I'm insulted that you'd think that I would change simply because you're a human who picked me by random." He got up from his knee, "When I found out you were actually human, my devotion to you grew stronger. You didn't gain this power as a privilege, this was something you earned."
His words aren't entirely incorrect, decades under Guy's tutelage had been, well to say the least, pure torture, " So does that mean…"
" I am at your disposal Milord."
"Good to know. Take this." When Gehrman lifted his head, he saw a scythe planted into the ground, aswell as a shotgun, "These are for you."
"Thank you Milord!"
And now to address the thing I noticed first upon his arrival, "Gehrman, did you undergo majinization?"
He body flinched so hard that it's basically considered a tremble, " W-when did you find out?"
" When you first came here. Your magic level isn't at the level a regular human should be at."
He immediately face planted into the ground, " I'M SORRY MILORD!"
" Don't worry, it matters not if you are a demonoid." I spoke to him calmly.
"It doesn't? But aren't demons and spirits naturally enemies?"
"Not exactly ene-wait how do know that already?!"
"I've been studying since I got here. Lady Elmesia gave me access to her personal library."
Well it seems that Elmesia is being far more than courteous with him than I expected. I wonder what she intends to do with him.
"One more thing I intend to give you." I said as I reached my hand out to him. He took at and immediately heard a notification in his head.
[Gifting of the unique skill: Hunter… successful]
He immediately became surprised, a unique skill?! He didn't know you can get them from a specific individual.
I easily read his thoughts, " You can't get an unique skill through normal means like this, I'm just a special case."
Gehrman bowed down immediately, " Thank you for this gift Milord."
"Raise your head…" When he lifted his head, he found himself in a new outfit, "This was my outfit as an adventurer. It's equivalent to legend-grade armor."
"What is it that you want of me?"
"From this day forth, you shall be my priest
…And my hunter, Gehrman."
————————————————
Elmesia rushed to the library where she felt a massive energy fluctuation, right where Gehrman had gone too.
When she got there, she found Gehrman safe and sound… in a new outfit and weapons… with the grayfog retracting… and a black floating golem behind him, 'WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!'
————————————————
" Would you please explain what had just happened." Elmesia was having a talk down with Gehrman once again.
" I figured out how to enter my lord Pneuma's domain."
" Huh?"
" Yeah, he gave all these gifts."
Elmesia looked to the side to see the stuff that Pneuma gave to Gehrman. The projectile-firing weapon can create projectiles from the users magicules and can turn the projectile into any attribute as long as the user can visualise it and the scythe can drain a persons mana just from a single scratch from it.
The clothes look like a generic cloak and mask, but she doubted she could pierce it without Vayu.
Now lastly, " Can I ask, what are you?" She said to the golem. This thing was clearly more autonomous than most golems.
" Apologies for not introducing myself." The floating golem bowed to the best of his abilities, "I am Necrozma, a creation of Pneuma. He had tasked me with accompanying Gehrman on his journey."
Even Elmesia had began to understand their faith towards him, the sophistication of this golem was astounding.
"Necrozma is incredible, aren't they?"
"They?"
"Oh yeah, Necrozma has three personalities."
Elmesia's intuition felt like there was something else they weren't mentioning, "What else did he give you?"
"Oh. He gave us both unique skills." Gehrman replied with an answer that shocked Elmesia.
'How can someone give someone else a unique skill."
Necrozma interjected, " He gave Gehrman the unique skill: Hunter and he upgraded my one, Prism into Kaleidoscope."
Elmesia had now given up on comprehending these things. She could now understand the audacious proclamation of him being a god. She might even start sucking up just to get new skills.
