Chapter 57 - Worst teacher ever

Hinata and Yuuki had just completed another day of training. There forms were bathed in sweat from their strict teachers. Although, with an observant eye, it was clear one of them was feigning physical strain.

"Ok time for us to move again." Shizu declared resolutely.

"Huh!" The both of them exclaimed in surprise. They had gotten used to the fact she would switch locations but over time the switching had become much more frequent and Their teacher had adopted a far more paranoid persona.

————————————————

The three had been walking in silence for quite a while, too afraid to say anything until Yuuki couldn't handle it anymore, "You know what Hinata, I'm sick of this." He turned his attention to the paranoid and frustrated mask, "Teach, why are we moving so often?" The reason their were so tense about this issue was because the last time they asked this question, it put her in a very bad mood and they had to pay the price in the form of training.

They expected an outburst, a reprimand, something devastating but all she did was sigh and take her mask off, "I'm trying to avoid someone."

Now only had Hinata's interest been peaked, she had never seen her teacher in such a blinding storm of emotions, it's not that she was fearful of asking Shizu, she just didn't care, "Is there something wrong with him?"

"No, not exactly. Simon's just a huge… psychopath." Shizu had attempted to lighten Simon's image in their minds but failed miserably, "Look, he's not right in the head but he means well."

"Do you believe that constantly moving is enough to make sure he doesn't find us?" Yuuki asked with a smile.

"No, I don't think I'm doing close to enough to avoid him. With that man's tracking abilities, I'd have to leave this entire dimension just to lose his trail."

Hinata raised her hand like a proper student, "One last question, Why are you specifically avoiding him now."

" Because last time I saw him and mentioned you two, he said he was gonna finish up his next personal project and come find me… and abuse my students. Now he might have been joking but with his chaotic personality, I'm not risking it."

" Risking what?"

" AHHH!!" All three had jumped back at the man that had suddenly materialised out of thin air.

————————————————

" So this is you teacher?" Yuuki asked politely.

" Yes." Shizu looked down at the ground with dead eyes.

Currently we were all in a random cabin in the woods, sitting down for some tea.

Shizu's dead demeanor had suddenly fired up into anger, " Simon! How the hell did you find me!"

" What do you mean find you, I never lost track of you." I replied to her bluntly and shut down her train of thought instantly.

Shizu's body fell limply to he ground in defeat. All the effort she had put in to hide herself was meaningless, he had known where she was the whole time and just decided to not come… because he was busy.

" You're the worst person ever." Shizu said through feigned sobs.

" Yeah, yeah, it's like the hundreds time you've said that about me…" I walked up to her and picked up her limp body like a baby, "… Now, aren't you gonna introduce your students?"

" Kill yourself."

" Maybe later, but first introductions."

————————————————

Shizu had reluctantly introduced the two beside us, " Are you satisfied now?"

" Relatively, but confession, I already knew who they were."

"THEN WHY DID YOU NEED INTRODUCTIONS!?"

"No reason, just wanted to piss you off a little, you want food? And if so, then tell me what you want."

Shizu looked furious but just accepted defeat, "You know what, surprise me."

————————————————

We were currently eating dinner when Shizu popped the question in her mind, " Did you come here to abuse my students?"

" Relatively. Don't worry, I won't do anything to traumatizing."

" THAT'S NOT REASSURING AT ALL."

————————————————

I was currently on a battlefield opposite Hinata while Yuuki was on the side eager to see what would happen. Shizu sat on the ground, feeling like she had failed as a teacher, or more accurately, someone meant to protect the two.

" And begin!" Yuuki's voice rang out, causing Hinata to lunge at me. She delivered a slash at me. Yet she found herself blocked by a sword made of ice.

'Sorry Hinata, I've already beaten your future self. This is just a drop in the bucket in terms of your strength.' I shoved her back but she didn't let that get her down, the moment she landed back onto her feet, she started charging again. Her eyes remained focused on me, even when blinking until I vanished.

She sensed danger from behind and spun around midair. She blocked my strike from behind but lost her footing.

I knocked her down to the ground. Her back nearly breaking from the backlash. Before she could get her bearings, she saw a foot come down on her. She dodged out of the way and the foot landed in the ground, causing cracks to spread throughout the earth.

'Jeez, what the hell. Let's try a new approach.'

As I took my foot out of the ground, I felt an information stream tried to attach itself to me, it was clear what Hinata was doing, "You know Hinata, Usurper doesn't work on me."

My words caused Hinata to flinch, she was going to bide her time and go on the defensive to try and get some skills from him, but he had already named her skill and seemed to have countered it, she didn't entirely believe him but she could feel her skill unable to bypass some sought of barrier.

"How about this?" As my words fell, she began to feel immense pain.

This power that was inflicting her so much pain, so much suffering. This was Usurper and he was using it against her, with even greater mastery then she did, "Ah! I surrender! I surrender!"

————————————————

"You're the worst teacher ever." Shizu grumbled.

"I know, but their not my students. It's your job to guide them to the best of your abilities."

"I guess you have a point." Shizu was laying her head on his shoulder, until she realized they were alone, "Teach, how is it going with your latest project?"

"Oh that, it's going great. Do you want to see what I had made?" I held out my hand to her.

She took my hand with reluctance but excitement. She was lifted up from the ground and fog erupted from Simon's Shadow, enveloping them in seconds. The space around her began to fold and then they disappeared from the world.

————————————————

Shizu was internally bewildered by the sight, through the fog she could see the eminance of stars, the movement of Celestial body's, the stillness of space and the passage of time.

When the fog disappeared, she was amazed by the sight Infront of her. A whole nation enveloped in this translucent, starry fog. She looked at the sky and found herself in close proximity with the stars, planets and galaxies. She walked to the edge of this world and looked down, she saw the cardinal world below her feet.

"I guess this proves it." Shizu said with a smile.

"Proves what?"

"That the earth is flat." Shizu smiled and I just sighed.

"Welcome to my world Shizu."
