The Apache or Reaper had lost contact with the mutated zombie it had recently engaged. However, from up in the sky, the UAV was still following the trail of the mutated zombie moving in-between roads and buildings at super speed.
With that, it sends all the data the F-35 needed for a hot pursuit and in the cockpit of the F-35, the pilot with its advanced helmet called HMDS or Helmet Mounted Display System, watched the feed come alive across his visor.
A red box snapped into place.
The pilot leaned slightly forward in his seat.
"I have the track," he said calmly and added. "Command, this is Viper One. Target is confirmed. Moving southbound at high speed. I have positive track."
"Viper One, you are cleared to engage."
"Copy. Cleared hot."
Inside the cockpit, the pilot's hands moved across the controls.
Weapons page up.
Target lock.
The HMDS tracked it even when the jet banked.
