Four hours later.
Adrian transformed the once infested air base of Pampanga into a military hub. He stood in the middle of the runway and slowly turned his head to see what had changed.
And the change was massive.
Just hours ago the place had been overrun by infected soldiers wandering across the runway.
Now the entire base was alive with activity.
More than a hundred non-combat personnel were moving across the installation. Mechanics, technicians, logistics crew, and ground staff walked between buildings carrying toolboxes, cables, and equipment crates. Some were already setting up portable workstations beside the hangars while others directed vehicles moving across the tarmac.
Adrian looked toward the main aircraft hangars.
The structures that once housed the FA-50 light fighters of the Philippine Air Force had been completely repurposed.
Inside them now stood something far more advanced.
Rows of F-35A Lightning II stealth fighters.
