Chapter 12 - The prodigy’s first challenge

"To absorb Nature Aru you needed to observe it then absorb it. You already learned how to observe it in assassin training, but you need to absorb it," Arthur said.

"To absorb Nature Aru there are 3 main areas. Your hands, your feet, and your chest. Once you grow more efficient at absorbing Nature Aru you will be able to absorb it without even thinking from your entire body,"

Arthur explained.

Ok, so I just focus on absorbing the Nature Aru around us.

"Yes," Arthur replied.

That doesn't seem to hard.

"Oh boy is he in for a surprise, Arthur thought."

Several hours later…

What the hell! Why is this so difficult!

I've been able to get everything quite easily till now. Well let's think about it. Aru is power, nature, presence, and exists in all things. So Nature Aru can only logically be the source of this worlds existence and power. That's it, in order to use nature Aru you have to steal power from this world.

But that also means that the Nature Aru is available to every living or present being in this world meaning I have to constantly contend with billions of beings for Nature Aru.

Dawn came…

I finally got it!

Oh, shit. It's dawn I need to go.

"Well then be safe, we'll continue tonight," Arthur replied.

See ya old man!

"He got it sooner than I did he is a true prodigy, he may even get to the level of the father of Aru one day," Arthur thought as he watched Aerin run off.

At the training grounds…

Sorry I'm late. Did they finally figure it out.

"They did indeed," Mr. Sato responded.

Awesome! So what are we going to learn today?

"The next 3 days you all will be sparring in hand to hand combat," Mr. Sato said.

What?

"Yes, you heard that right. It will be everyone for themselves, and you have the whole area—20 miles around the training grounds—to use. The one who comes out victorious will be the squad leader. Good luck, and don't hold back. You have 20 minutes to find a place to start, starting now," Mr. Sato said.

Aerin then immediately started sprinting south as the rest all went in opposite directions…

To be continued…
