Sunny stared at the words for a long moment.
"As far as my imagination goes…" he murmured.
The idea felt almost unreal.
After a moment, he dismissed his profile and walked over to where Cheng Sen was crouched beside a small fire. The flames flickered quietly as Cheng Sen turned a large piece of meat over the fire, roasting it slowly.
The scent of cooked meat filled the air.
Sunny sat beside him, and soon the two of them began eating the meat of the creatures they had slain earlier that day. They ate in silence at first, both exhausted from the long battles they had fought.
Eventually, Cheng Sen wiped his hands and leaned back.
"Wake me if anything shows up," he said before lying down to sleep.
Sunny nodded.
"I'll take the first watch."
Soon the forest fell silent again.
Only the crackling fire and distant sounds of the wilderness filled the night.
While keeping watch, Sunny couldn't resist testing his new legacy feature.
He focused his mind and imagined himself becoming a powerful creature known as a Byger, a beast famous for its immense strength and durability.
Almost instantly, his body began to change.
Muscles expanded, bones shifted, and a powerful energy surged through his body.
Sunny clenched his fist.

"So this is what it feels like…" he whispered.
Curious, he tried something else.
He imagined becoming Cheng Sen.
His body shifted again, reshaping until he looked exactly like his companion. Even the posture and facial features were perfectly copied.
Sunny chuckled softly.

After experimenting for a while, he transformed back into the form of a Byger. His body became larger and more powerful, perfectly suited for hunting.

"I should hunt a few more creatures," Sunny thought.
But just as he prepared to leave, he paused.
He looked back at Cheng Sen, who was sleeping peacefully beside the dying fire.
Sunny frowned.
"I can't just leave him alone…"
Just then, something unexpected happened.
The tiger-shaped tattoo on Sunny's body suddenly shimmered.
To his surprise, it detached from his skin, forming a physical shape beside him.
Within seconds, the tattoo transformed into a perfect copy of Sunny himself.
The tattoo-double looked at him and casually gestured toward the forest, as if telling him to go ahead.
Sunny blinked in shock.
"…You can do that now?"
The tattoo-double simply nodded.
With his tattoo guardian staying behind to watch over Cheng Sen, Sunny finally left the camp and ventured deeper into the darkness.
Before long, he encountered a group of creatures.
They resembled large cheetah-like monsters, their bodies sleek and muscular. Their glowing eyes scanned the forest while their claws dug into the ground.
They were extremely fast predators.
Sunny smiled slightly.
"Perfect."
He activated his shapeshifting again.
His body shifted rapidly until he resembled one of the creatures perfectly.
Immediately, he felt the difference.
His speed skyrocketed.
His senses sharpened.
His muscles became light and explosive.
Sunny pushed his imagination even further.
Instead of simply copying the creature, he enhanced the form beyond its natural limits.
His claws grew sharper.
His muscles became stronger.
His speed increased dramatically.
Before the creatures could react, Sunny moved.
He dashed forward like a blur.
One creature fell.
Then another.

The battle ended almost instantly.

Thousands of creatures surrounded the area.
The forest floor trembled under their movement.
But what shocked him the most was what he saw in the middle of the battlefield.
Sunny was fighting them.
Or at least… someone who looked exactly like Sunny.
The figure moved flawlessly through the battlefield, dodging attacks and striking down creatures with terrifying efficiency.
Cheng Sen quickly summoned his weapon.
Marsus Bow and Arrow.
The bow shimmered as it appeared in his hands.
Without hesitation, he began firing.
Arrow after arrow flew through the air.
Each one struck the weak points of the monsters perfectly.

Then hundreds…
Creatures fell every second.
Cheng Sen's arrows rained down like a storm.
Then something even more unbelievable happened.
The Sunny fighting on the battlefield suddenly changed the terrain.
The ground transformed into a massive swamp, water spreading across the battlefield.
Then Sunny's body shifted again.
This time, he became an enormous electric eel.
A massive surge of electricity exploded from his body.
The water carried the current across the battlefield instantly.
Thousands of creatures were electrocuted at once.
Cheng Sen stared in disbelief.
"Is… that really Sunny?"
Just then, the sweet whisper reached his ears.

A moment later, the result appeared.

Suddenly, a massive bolt of lightning crashed down from the sky and struck Cheng Sen.
But instead of harming him, the lightning flowed into his body.
Power surged through his veins.
With a shout, Cheng Sen unleashed the lightning toward the remaining creatures.
Thunder exploded across the battlefield.
The monsters were annihilated instantly.
Something even stranger happened next.
The spirits of the slain creatures rose into the air.
They stared at Cheng Sen briefly…
Then each spirit summoned its own thunderbolt, striking the remaining monsters.
Even Sunny's tattoo-double seemed surprised by the sudden storm of lightning.
Elsewhere in the forest, Sunny was still walking when the sorcery whispered again.

Sunny stopped.
"…Three thousand?"
Before he could understand what was happening, thunderbolts began raining from the sky.
Sunny instantly transformed into the cheetah-like creature again and sprinted toward the source at full speed.
Moments later, he arrived at a battlefield filled with thousands of dead horse-like creatures.
But what shocked him even more was what he saw near the center.
His tattoo-double was sitting beside Cheng Sen…
Eating roasted meat.
Sunny stared for a moment before walking over and reabsorbing the tattoo into his body.
Cheng Sen looked up suddenly.
"Sunny?"
Sunny nodded.
"Yes… it's me."
He glanced around at the destroyed battlefield.
"What happened here?"
The two of them quickly exchanged stories.
Sunny explained how he had gone hunting while leaving his tattoo-double behind.
Cheng Sen described the lightning storm and his newly awakened power.
But before they could say anything else…
A shadowy figure slowly emerged from the darkness.
The air instantly became heavy.
The figure's eyes glowed with ancient power.
It was Kreal.
His voice echoed like something rising from the depths of the void.
"You've both grown stronger than I anticipated…"
Sunny and Cheng Sen immediately tensed.
Kreal slowly raised his hand.
"But now," he continued calmly,
"You must face the true test of your legacies."
The ground beneath them began to tremble.
And something massive started rising from beneath the earth.
