Chapter 9 - Back home

Sunny returned home, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after his transformation in the spirit sea. He took a refreshing shower, scrubbing away any lingering remnants of his ordeal. Afterwards, he slipped into a new T-shirt and jeans, a birthday gift he'd been saving for a special occasion.

As he gazed at his reflection, he barely recognized the person staring back. His long, grave hair now stopped at his shoulders, framing a chiseled face and an impressively toned physique. He looked fresh, new, and ready to take on the world.

With a spring in his step, Sunny headed to the library, eager to learn more about the Realm and his newfound powers. He pushed open the door, and a silver-haired beauty with piercing blue eyes greeted him with a kiss that left him stunned.

"So, with a physique like this, are you now an initiate?" she asked, her hands wrapped around his neck.

Sunny's brain took a moment to catch up. "Yeah... but I didn't expect this sudden kiss," he stammered, still baffled.

His girlfriend, still grinning, dropped a bombshell: "I also got infected, and surprisingly, I'm a Demi-Exalted."

The conversation was interrupted by an urgent phone call, and she had to leave abruptly. Sunny, left to his own devices, wandered over to the bookshelf, scanning the titles for something relevant to the Realm.

His eyes landed on a few promising tomes: "Legends of God," "Wolf and Vampire Strategy," and "How to Expand Your Power as a God." As he pulled out "Legends of God," a picture of Lord Zeus caught his eye.

Lord Zeus was a behemoth – massive, muscular, and radiating power. Sunny felt a shiver run down his spine as he gazed at the image. He could almost feel the power emanating from the page.

Suddenly, his transmitter notified him of an incoming message. A video feed flickered to life, showing a monstrous creature hurtling towards him. Sunny's instincts kicked in, and he summoned his Indestructible Spear.

Inspired by Lord Zeus, he shifted into a replica of the god's form, adopting his physique and demeanor. His speed and strength surged, though he knew he was no match for the real deal. With his newfound confidence, he strode out of the library, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
