Chapter 219 - Chapter 219: Percy and Padfoot (Part 1)

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, the Muggle World is truly even more complicated than the Wizarding World."

Rowena clicked her tongue in lament, casually tossing aside the person she had just used Legilimency on.

"Who's to say it isn't?" Helga said, idly flipping through documents on the nearby table. "If our Amanda knew what these people were doing, she'd probably be quite furious."

"Whether little Amanda would be angry or not is uncertain," Rowena waved her hand; she knew her own daughter, and making her angry was no easy task. "But little Hermione would definitely be angry."

"Using empty-handed tactics to siphon off the vast majority of wealth from Country Y—according to the Muggle World's terms, this was all wealth created by ordinary citizens."

Helga kept duplicating the documents on the table, nodding in agreement as she listened to Rowena.

"Mmhmm, that sounds like little Hermione."

The two chatted while rummaging through things, as if this place were their own back garden rather than a location that not even the Muggle Government of Country Y could inspect at will.

"Hiss..." Hearing a gasp, Rowena didn't even turn her head; she drew her wand and fired a Stupefy.

Bang! With a soft sound, the bodyguard who had fallen to the ground unconscious went back to sleep.

"Oh, found it. It seems he's the one who's been constantly obstructing Amanda's products and refusing to change the commodity prices."

Helga said, kicking the elderly man lying next to her twice. The elderly man wore a top hat and looked extremely civilized.

"Looking all civilized."

Rowena took the documents from Helga and glanced at the unconscious elderly man on the ground. "Yet he does things worse than a beast. They use financial traps to swindle away wealth that others spent their heart and soul creating."

"And then they use the very things they created to harm their own people."

Helga rubbed her wand with her right hand, a faint green light flickering at the tip. "Should we just finish him off completely?"

"Leave it for Amanda and Hermione," Rowena shook her head. "They'll need some practice sooner or later."

"That's true." Helga nodded and put away her wand. One could only say that ever since the first badger ancestor, Hufflepuff had never been a cowardly house.

"Obliviate."

Rowena waved her wand at the people in the room, and while at it, happily blew up the safe, computers, and similar items.

Since they wanted to make things difficult for her daughter and trap her with schemes, they had better be prepared for her to flip the table~

"I thought we'd be able to see the Founders beat up Umbridge this time."

On an afternoon with no classes, five girls including Amanda, plus Luna, were sitting under a large tree to enjoy the shade. Marietta Eckmore said with a sigh; now, their greatest pleasure was watching Umbridge suffer.

"Mom and the others haven't been at Hogwarts recently." Amanda lifted her head from Hermione's shoulder and shook it, her expression unchanging.

"Not at Hogwarts?" This time it was Hermione's turn to be curious. Would the two Founders actually leave Amanda's side?

"Yes," Amanda nodded with an indifferent expression. "A few days ago, the senior student responsible for liaising with the Muggle World wrote to say that the magical technology products produced by the factory were being maliciously obstructed, and someone was attempting to use financial methods to infiltrate the factory."

"Infiltrate using financial methods..." Hermione frowned. Why did this tactic feel so familiar? It seemed like something a certain type of person often did.

"Yes, so Mom and the others went to handle it."

"Lady Ravenclaw and Lady Hufflepuff actually understand finance?"

Penelope, held in Luna's arms, opened her mouth in surprise. In the era where the two Founders lived, the concept of finance shouldn't even exist yet, right?

They could actually do this? That's too amazing!

The muscles on Amanda's face stiffened noticeably, and her voice carried a rare hint of embarrassment.

"Mother Rowena could probably learn it on the spot, and Mother Helga might need a bit of effort, but she could learn it too."

She first affirmed her two mothers' abilities, then changed the subject.

"But based on an analysis of their personalities, I don't think they even need to know finance," Amanda tilted her little head towards where Penelope was. "Because they are proficient in magic."

"Th-that makes a lot of sense." Penelope stammered in agreement. magic really is a very convenient thing.

"You cannot choose the same means as the devil to deal with the devil," an ethereal, lingering voice rang out. Luna, holding Penelope, gently rubbed her cheek against hers. "You must use magic, use the things you are proficient in to defeat them."

"When you have enough strength, you can reject the enemy's schemes and tricks."

Hermione raised an eyebrow, and the hand holding Amanda gently pinched her earlobe upward.

"I know what those factories of yours are for now."

She leaned into Amanda's ear and said with a smile in a low voice.

"Mmh." Amanda responded with a cool, calm expression, the corners of her mouth curling up. In her peripheral vision, she saw Harry and Ron walking quickly toward them.

Hermione, who was holding Amanda, followed her gaze and saw the two boys walking toward them in a hurry.

Sitting still, Hermione slowly smoothed Amanda's long hair and looked at Harry and Ron. "What's wrong with you two? You seem so flustered."

"Sirius, Sirius knows about Ron and me being put in detention by Umbridge, and he also knows about her wanting to use a Dark Arts quill to punish us."

Harry finished this long sentence, panting slightly, then shook the envelope in his hand.

"My mom knows about this too." Ron also raised the envelope in his hand to signal.

"It looks like you two didn't tell them." Hermione let go of Amanda and stood up, patted her school skirt, took the letters from the two boys, and went back to read them with Amanda.

The other five girls around them immediately crowded over, seven little heads huddled together, looking at the two letters in Hermione's hands.

"How could I possibly tell Sirius about such a trivial matter?"

Harry shook his head. In his view, as long as he could solve it or endure it himself, it was a small matter, and there was no need to bother others.

"Mom is already busy enough taking care of the family; I couldn't possibly bother her with my affairs." Ron also shook his head from the side.

"Then it must be the letters the Professor wrote to them."

Reading the two letters in Hermione's hands at a terrifyingly fast speed, Amanda "drilled" out from the group of girls and said to Harry and Ron in a flat tone.

"It must be the letters the Professor wrote to them." Hermione looked up at the two boys, narrowing her eyes to offer a kind reminder.

"If I were you, I would absolutely not say this is a trivial matter when Sirius or your family, Ron, comes over, or say that you didn't want to bother them because you were worried they were too busy."

"They are about to explode with anger."

She said this while handing the two letters, which the girls had finished reading, back to Harry and Ron.

"So, will I be able to see Sirius beat up Umbridge at dinner later?"

Harry swallowed, his expression looking somewhat dreamy.

Being wronged at school and having his guardian immediately notify him that they were coming to back him up—this was the first time he had experienced such a thing.

"Maybe she'll be blown to pieces by my mom first." Ron patted Harry on the shoulder, his face unconsciously carrying a touch of warmth and excitement.

A child with family backing them up is always the happiest child.

"They won't get into any trouble because of this, will they?" Harry gripped the letter from Sirius tightly, conflicted. He still didn't want others to have any trouble because of his affairs.

Especially since this person was his godfather, his family—he... he wanted to bother him even less.

"Don't think so much, Harry," Hermione sighed and walked in front of Harry. "Look up, look at me."

Until Harry looked up and met her eyes, Hermione spoke, "Sirius is your godfather; he is your family. Between family, there is no such thing as bothering or not bothering; you are the closest people."

"Just like between you and us," Hermione said, pointing to herself, then to Amanda and the others behind her. "We are all your closest friends. Are you going to tell us that you're afraid of bothering us too?"

Hermione's eyes suddenly became dangerous, and his subconscious told Harry that he absolutely could not say yes now.

So he shook his head frantically to deny it. "Of course not, absolutely not!"

"Learn to rely on others in moderation, Harry. Both you and Amanda."

Hermione said, looking back at Amanda. Amanda blinked with an indifferent expression—how did she get dragged into this?

"It's fine if you say what you just said to us, but don't say it to Sirius; he will be sad."

"As for whether Sirius and Mrs. Weasley will take action against Umbridge," Hermione pursed her lips, looking at the two boys in front of her, "isn't it obvious?"

Although neither Harry nor Ron was injured, it was a fact that Umbridge wanted to use Dark Arts objects to harm them. Just for this reason alone, she didn't think Sirius and Mrs. Weasley would let Umbridge off.

Anyway, if it were her own mom and dad, Umbridge would definitely not be able to get away unscathed, even if she could use magic and the Grangers couldn't.

"Alright, I think I understand what you mean." Harry scratched his head, feeling that he still needed some time to adapt to this kind of absolute support from parents.

The whole afternoon was spent in idle chat. When dinner time arrived, Harry and Ron sat at the Gryffindor Table, feeling as if they were on pins and needles, both nervously and expectantly waiting for their parents to appear.

Hermione sat at the Ravenclaw Table, tilted her head, and leaned into Amanda's ear. "Do you guess Sirius will arrive first, or Mrs. Weasley and the others?"

Listening to Hermione's question, Amanda's brain operated rapidly, instinctively analyzing the personalities of Sirius and Mrs. Weasley.

"Based on personality analysis, Sirius should arrive first, but there are too many variables in this matter and too much uncontrollability, so the guess cannot be confirmed."

"It's rare for there to be something you can't determine." Hermione said with a sigh. The next second, the Great Hall doors were pushed open with a bang.

Amanda turned her head and looked toward the Great Hall doors with an indifferent gaze. However, the first parent to walk in tonight was neither Sirius nor Mrs. Weasley.

It was, "Percy?" Ron looked at his brother, who was striding into the Great Hall, with his jaw dropped, somewhat unable to understand why he would come here.

"How did he come here? He should have just gotten off work at the Ministry of Magic right now, shouldn't he? Doesn't he need to pack up?"

Fred and George shared the same confusion. Watching their brother stride in, they looked at each other.

"Why would Percy come to Hogwarts?"

"Who knows? Anyway, it won't be because he missed his brothers."

However, to their surprise, Percy's steps were indeed heading toward them.

"Wow..."

"He wouldn't have really come because he missed his brothers, would he?"

"Fred, George, you two keep a closer eye on Ron and Ginny from now on. Ron was almost harmed by Umbridge using Dark Arts objects."

Percy walked to the side of the Gryffindor Table and spoke in a serious tone. The Twins' previously playful expressions vanished instantly, and they turned to look at Ron with solemn expressions.

After what happened with Ginny, their whole family was now exceptionally vigilant about things like Dark Arts objects.

"Our little brother kept it from us so well." Fred gripped the goblet in his hand tightly.

"Yeah, we were curious before about who Professor McGonagall was angry at when she yelled at Umbridge that morning. It turned out to be our own brother." George followed up tacitly from behind, his movements almost identical to Fred's.

"Hey, I wasn't really hurt, you don't have to be so..." Excited, Ron's words hadn't even finished before they were forced back by his brothers' stares.

Even Ginny ran over, looked Ron up and down, and after confirming he was fine, gave him a slap on the back without hesitation.

"Wasn't my lesson enough for you to learn from? How could you not tell the family when you encounter such a thing!"

Ron opened his mouth, and Harry tugged hard on his sleeve to signal him to shut up.

Percy let out a heavy breath, drew his wand, and walked toward the Staff Table. He was so fast that in the blink of an eye, he was already in front of Umbridge.

Reaching out and grabbing Umbridge by the collar, Percy pulled her up in front of him with force, the tip of his wand pointing directly at her chest, sizzling with sparks.

"Merlin!" Umbridge screamed as she was burned. She kept twisting her body, dressed in pink, trying to struggle. "Mr. Weasley! What are you doing? You are attacking the deputy head of the ministry of magic! Don't forget that you also work at the Ministry of Magic."

"Sorry, I don't anymore. I just submitted my resignation letter before coming to Hogwarts."

Percy looked at Umbridge fiercely, speaking word by word. Down below, The Twins, who had been "friendly communicating" with Ron, were so shocked that they shouted in unison, "Impossible!"
